Heartwarming / Metropolis (2001)

• Just about all of the scenes with Pero and Tima that aren't Tear Jerker moments.
• The movie may have a Bittersweet Ending, but it leans heavily towards “sweet” with Kenichi reuniting with Fifi. The garbage robot who sacrificed itself to save Kenichi and Tima, who is repaired and well and finding out he can rebuild Tima. And If you stuck around after the credits, you see that he has successfully brought back Tima! Well at least in the Japanese version.
