Heartwarming / Marvel Anime: X-Men

• Episode 4, the first thing Hisako's best friend Kyoko does when she sees her again? She gives her a crushing Bear Hug.
  Kyoko: You're back! It's really true!
  Hisako: (finding it a little hard to breathe) It's good to see you too, Kyoko.
  • Perhaps the best part? Kyoko's no fellow mutant, just a friend.
  • Hisako and Kyoko later making tea for the X-Men.
• Episode 5, after Emma allows the X-Men to see her past, Scott extends the olive branch and apologizes for his hostile attitude.
  Scott: I've been out of line. Sorry, Emma (holds out a hand, which Emma takes).
• By the end of episode 7, Scott and Emma have reconciled completely thanks to Scott allowing her into his mind to learn what happened the day Jean died. They even smile at each other for the first time in the series.
  Scott: Well, don't tell anyone. But I'm starting to think you're not half as bad as you seem.
• Episode 12, the moment when Jean Grey's ghost briefly reappears and saves her fellow X-Men one last time. She also tells Scott she loves him and to move on from his grief.
  • When Yui tries to kill herself for all the horrible things she'd done. Takeo's ghost/spirit/mental energies stops her. He then shows her and Xavier a vision of the three of them holding hands. His way of telling her to live, and find a reason to be happy again.
