Heartwarming / Kate Bush

Go To

  • After her highly theatrical and hammy shows in the late '70s (the only tour she would do until over forty years later), she would throw flowers into the audience. Still hammy (it's Kate Bush, what do you expect), but clearly appreciative.
  • "Bertie," from Aerial, is a tribute to her son.
    • "An Endless Sky of Honey", and also the remake of "Deeper Understanding" from her Directors Cut album, also feature vocals from her son. The fact that she clearly loves him and gets him involved in her work is brilliant.
  • During Before The Dawn, her live show/album, she adds the line "I tell my son how much I love [him]" to Morning Fog - extra moving, since her son is on stage performing with her throughout (he plays...well, her son during The Ninth Wave, and the painter in An Endless Sky of Honey).
