A Heartwarming Moments page? What is this doing in a show like Kaeloo? You may be surprised, but even a show like this does have its heartwarming moments.

    open/close all folders
    General
  • Though they don’t always show it, the friendship between the main four is very heartwarming and it appears as a family-like bond. They are willing to help each other if they have some sort of problem, and they become very angry and worried when the others are under threat.
  • Kaeloo Hulking Out is normally to protect Quack Quack from danger. She also attempts to not transform for most of the episode to ensure that Mr. Cat, despite his being a complete jerkass, is safe, because he’s her friend.
  • Mr. Cat acts like a Jerkass to the others, but deep down he truly does care for his friends. If they’re under threat from something or someone other than him, or have any problems, he’s willing to help them out.
  • Did the scene before the Smash to Black end with Kaeloo doing something absolutely horrible to Mr. Cat like punching him, squashing him flat, or setting him on fire? Odds are the next scene has Kaeloo happily hanging out with Mr. Cat as though nothing happened between them and she was never angry in the first place.
    • It has been shown that Quack Quack could easily kick Mr. Cat's ass if he wanted to - but he doesn't.
  • Any moment where we see Stumpy idolizing Mr. Cat. When he does something awesome, Stumpy usually notes how cool he is and looks at him with sheer admiration.
  • Pretty, who is said to be one of the most beautiful girls ever, literally throws herself at Mr. Cat. He still rejects her because he prefers Kaeloo, who is slightly overweight and not as attractive as Pretty.
  • The few moments where Bad Kaeloo proves that despite her constant abuse of Mr. Cat, she really does love him and care about him.
  • Kaeloo and Mr. Cat’s relationship in general. As the show progresses, it becomes clear that they see the usual saga of violence that ensues between them as a way of bonding with each other and despite their constant bickering, you dont have to dig that deep to see how close they are.
    • The way Mr. Cat treats Kaeloo. She's in danger? He does everything he can to protect her. Someone hurt her? He takes revenge on them. She feels guilty for beating him up for doing something bad? He assures her it was his fault and not hers. Everyone has abandoned her? He sticks with her and helps her repair her social life.
  • In the English dub, aside from the usual "froggy" or "tadpole", Mr. Cat also refers to Kaeloo with other nicknames such as "my little froggy" or "sweetheart".

     Kaeloo Rush

     Expository Comics
  • The comics repeatedly refer to the main four as a "family" instead of just "a group of friends".
    • The end of Kaeloo's comic refers to her as "the heart of the family".
    • The end of Quack Quack's comic says that despite having no living biological relatives, "he has found his true family" with the rest of the main four.
  • The picture at the end of Kaeloo's comic shows Quack Quack lifting the other three into the air while Kaeloo has her arms around Mr. Cat and Stumpy.
  • The picture at the end of Quack Quack's comic shows the main four together around Quack Quack like a happy family. Everyone is smiling. Even Mr. Cat.
  • The picture at the end of Mr. Cat's comic shows him standing at a distance from the others, but smiling nonetheless; the accompanying text says that he would definitely be bored without them.
  • Mr. Cat's comic also mentions that he has a stuffed toy hedgehog, which is one of his favorite possessions; the image shows him hugging it tightly with a joyful expression on his face.
  • Stumpy's comic ends with him, Quack Quack, and Mr. Cat playing a game where the latter "attacks" the formers with a banana; they're laughing and smiling together.

    Pilot
  • At the end of the episode, Mr. Cat reveals the true reason he keeps trying to anger Kaeloo: he has a huge crush on her, and enjoys seeing her transform.

    Other

    Season One

Let’s Play Prison Ball

  • The very first scene of this show is Kaeloo pestering Mr. Cat to play with the main four despite the latter telling her he doesn't want to. Why? Because she knows that deep down, he does have fun when he actually joins in, and Kaeloo doesn't want Mr. Cat to miss out on what he clearly finds to be an enjoyable experience.
    • Episode 99 shows that she was actually right about this; the episode has Mr. Cat, seeing everyone else playing a game he declined to play, angrily remarks to the audience that he hates seeing his friends have fun without him.
  • Mr. Cat lies to Stumpy that Kaeloo said something bad about his (Stumpy's) sister. Upon hearing this, an enraged Stumpy throws the ball with full force at Kaeloo to avenge his sister... at least before he remembers that he doesn’t have one.

Let's Play Red Light, Green Light

  • As an angry Bad Kaeloo runs towards Mr. Cat, Mr. Cat waves his arms at her with a happy expression on his face.

Let's Play Magicians

  • Stumpy repeatedly asks Kaeloo for a chance to borrow her magic kit, but she keeps pushing him away and refusing to lend it to him. Halfway through Kaeloo's magic show, Mr. Cat (who is a member of the audience and had seen Stumpy begging for a turn) boos Kaeloo off the stage and tells her to let Stumpy have a turn.
    Mr. Cat: We want nutcracker!

Let's Play Hopscotch

  • When Mr. Cat sees Quack Quack apparently hurt, he seems incredibly angry at the idea of someone else hurting Quack Quack.
Mr. Cat: (infuriated) What's the big idea? Who whacked duckface instead of me?!
  • Despite all the awful things Mr. Cat did to his friends in this episode, such as getting Quack Quack Dragged Off to Hell and nearly doing the same to Kaeloo and Stumpy, after Kaeloo beats him up, Kaeloo and Stumpy continue playing with Mr. Cat as though nothing had happened.

Let's Play Trap-Trap

  • The main four are picking teams for a game of trap-trap. Mr. Cat says that he wants to team up with Kaeloo. Kaeloo tells him to do "Eenie-Meenie-Miney-Moe" to pick teams, so he deliberately makes up his own version which puts Quack Quack and on a team together so he can be with Kaeloo. After Stumpy and Quack Quack leave, a blushing Kaeloo runs up to Mr. Cat, gives him a hug, tells him it was very sweet of him to want her on his team, and continues to hug him until he pushes her off of him.

Let's Play Teachers

  • After Stumpy and Mr. Cat have (deliberately) subjected Kaeloo to psychological torture by annoying her as much as possible, she transforms with the intention of beating them up... but Kaeloo tries to stop Bad Kaeloo by reasoning with her so she doesn't wind up hurting them; despite all the things they did to her, she still wants to make sure they don't have to go through the physical pain and emotional trauma of getting beaten up.

Let's Play Simon Says

  • The episode starts with Kaeloo greeting everything in sight, regardless of whether or not it's a living thing. At the end of the day, she sees Mr. Cat from a distance. Feeling happy to see her best friend, she literally jumps onto him with a huge smile on her face and greets him enthusiastically. Even when he insults her, she doesn't get mad and she's still happy.
  • Mr. Cat takes away Kaeloo's life savings? Fine. He humiliates Quack Quack in public by forcing him to do a Shameful Strip? Kaeloo gets super mad.

Let's Play TV News

  • Mr. Cat's latest invention allows the characters to find out that their viewers enjoy the show more when there's violence in it. As a result, Mr. Cat tries to anger Kaeloo until she transforms and beats him up. Kaeloo eventually de-transforms. Mr. Cat attempts to make Kaeloo hit him some more so the viewers will like the show, but Kaeloo refuses to hurt him any further and even apologizes for the beating she already gave him.
  • Mr. Cat checking on Kaeloo and attempting to comfort her when she's crying. This is especially notable since it's the first time in the series where Mr. Cat does something to show that he cares about Kaeloo.

Let's Play Hide 'n Hunt

  • Kaeloo notices that Mr. Cat is only shooting at Quack Quack and demands that he target everyone equally, even if that means making herself a target.

Let's Play Ecologists

  • A minor one: Mr. Cat makes a rude joke about Kaeloo, and instead of getting mad, she giggles and says he's funny.

Let's Play Peace, Man!

  • Stumpy and Quack Quack decide to join Mr. Cat's side instead of staying by Kaeloo; Mr. Cat, with Tears of Joy in his eyes, remarks that he's very proud of them.

Let’s Play House

  • Throughout the episode, Kaeloo and Mr. Cat refer to each other with cute nicknames like "Honey" and "Sweetie".
  • Mr. Cat attempting to console Kaeloo. Though what he does next subverts it.
  • At the very end of the episode, Kaeloo realizes that running a family is not as fun as she thought it would be, since her "kids" were rude and ungrateful and Mr. Cat was only interested in sex. She then apologizes, with tears in her eyes, to Quack Quack and Stumpy. She asks the latter to show her his video game. An act which is both surprising in the fact that Kaeloo shows disdain for video games, and even more in the way that Stumpy agrees to share something he likes. The look on both of their faces, Kaeloo who is really sad to discover that family is far from being a game and Stumpy who wants to console her by sharing something that he loves with her in a friendly way (adding the fact that he doesn't act crazy at this moment), really sells the emotionality of this moment.

Let’s Play Scaredy Cat

  • Kaeloo, Quack Quack and Mr. Cat make fun of Stumpy. Stumpy gets mad and decides to walk off into the forest so he can be alone. Kaeloo immediately apologizes for what she said and is clearly worried about her friend walking off into a spooky forest in the middle of the night.
  • While Kaeloo apologizes to Stumpy for mocking him, Quack Quack and Mr. Cat continue to make fun of him in the background. And sure, they're making fun of Stumpy, but seeing Quack Quack and Mr. Cat having fun and laughing together is still pretty great.
  • Mr. Cat narrates a scary story which is apparently so horrific that everyone is terrified by it, except Stumpy. In a stark contrast with his earlier treatment of Stumpy, he tells him he's very impressed that he could endure that. This is especially nice when you watch some of the later episodes and find out that Stumpy idolizes Mr. Cat and thinks he's a really cool guy.

Let’s Play Babysitting

  • Stumpy setting up a date for Kaeloo and Mr. Cat because he apparently knows that they like each other.
  • Kaeloo and Mr. Cat opening up to each other during their date and talking about their relationship. Kaeloo says that she knows that Mr. Cat really is a nice person under his "tough guy" exterior, and Mr. Cat admits how much he really loves Kaeloo and starts kissing her.

Let’s Play Spies

Let’s Play the Quest for the Wholly Gruel

  • Kaeloo, Quack Quack and Mr. Cat are about to be hit by a meteor. Rather than being upset, Kaeloo joyfully exclaims "We're all going to die!", indicating that she wouldn't mind being killed. Quack Quack finds a safe place for them to shelter, and when it seems like Kaeloo isn't going to budge from her place, Mr. Cat grabs her by the hand and pulls her to safety.
  • Instead of being an Ungrateful Bastard like he usually is, Mr. Cat is nice to Quack Quack since he saved their lives.
Mr. Cat: Hey, dumbbell! If we survive this, I'll never shoot you again!

Let's Play Time Travel

  • "I never thought I'd say this, but, uh... much obliged, duckface."
    • Even better? The favor Quack Quack did for Mr. Cat was to get Kaeloo to come home with them.

Let’s Play Grown Ups

  • Initially, Mr. Cat seems to not care about his friends being turned into annoying adults, but later, when he finds out that none of them seem to remember him, he goes through a lot of stuff (such as eating several boxes of yogurt and being impaled with spoons) just to get them back to normal.
  • In the future, the main four seem to have forgotten each other, and Bad Kaeloo is Kaeloo's dominant form. When Mr. Cat manages to get Adult!Bad Kaeloo to turn into Adult!Kaeloo, Adult!Kaeloo refers to everyone by name, indicating that she remembers who they are.
  • After witnessing what their adult lives would be like, the buddies swear to never grow up and forget each other, presumably altering their futures.
  • Kaeloo, Stumpy and Quack Quack singing a song of gratitude for Mr. Cat. Even though they’re all Hollywood Tone-Deaf, it's still nice that they went out of their way to write a song for their friend.

Let’s Play Art Class

  • Stumpy proves to actually be good at art. Mr. Cat notices this and attempts to help Stumpy exercise his potential and become a successful artist.

Let’s Play Circuses

  • Stumpy’s mom calling him in the middle of the episode to let him know that she’s watching him, and trying to make sure that he's safe because he's juggling chainsaws at the moment.

Let’s Play Goodbye, Mr. Cat

  • Mr. Cat refers to Smileyland as his home.
  • The buddies try to help Mr. Cat as much as they can so he won’t have to leave Smileyland.

Let’s Play Courtroom Drama

  • Kaeloo deciding to leave Smileyland, a place she loves, because she thinks she’s too dangerous for her friends and doesn't want them to be hurt.
  • Mr. Cat’s reaction to this. The moment he sees her crying, he starts to feel bad, he tries to convince her not to leave and he eventually confesses to the crime he was being tried for in order to stop her from feeling bad. The English dub takes it a step further by having him call her "Kaeloo" instead of using one of his nicknames for her.

Let's Play Musical Chairs

  • The whole episode is a Throw the Dog a Bone moment to Stumpy.
  • Stumpy's friendship with the chairs after they get brought to life.

Let‘s Play Super Powers

  • Every time Kaeloo performs an attack on Mr. Cat, she stops for a minute to make sure he's alright.
  • The ending shows Kaeloo actually being happy with her Hulking Out "superpower", which she normally hates.

Let’s Play Astronauts

  • The rest of the main four decide to help Stumpy name a star after Ursula to celebrate his and Ursula's two-week anniversary by going all the way to outer space. Subverted since the whole thing was All Just a Dream, and the end of the episode shows that Kaeloo, Quack Quack and Mr. Cat are just as cruel as ever.

Let’s Play Justice Masters

  • Despite how badly they failed, it's still sweet that Kaeloo, Stumpy and Quack Quack would go to such extreme lengths to try to help Mr. Cat feel better.

Let’s Play Streetball

  • Kaeloo thinks she will most certainly go to Hell, but the others tell her not to worry since they’ll probably be going there too.
Kaeloo [singing]: Eternity isn’t long when you are not alone!

Let’s Play Hot-Cold

  • When Stumpy starts telling everyone the story of how he met Ursula, they're clearly touched by the story and find it cute.
  • Everybody stops Stumpy from hanging himself and then tries to help him impress Ursula.

Let's Play the Thing From Outer Space

  • Kaeloo and Quack Quack are very much willing to accept the titular thing from outer space into their home. Quack Quack also forms a strong bond with it.
  • In an odd, twisted way, another part of the episode can also be seen as heartwarming: Mr. Cat tries to attack the thing from outer space with a chainsaw, but it doesn't do any damage. He then attacks Quack Quack, cutting him up, and realizes that his chainsaw is fine. He gives the chainsaw a hug and says he was worried that it wasn't working anymore.

Let’s Play Once Upon a Time

  • While it was Played for Laughs, the fact that Stumpy regularly visits his grandmother’s grave and leaves Mr. Coolskin comics there for her to read is also Heartwarming.

Let’s Play Tennis

  • At the beginning of the episode, Stumpy mistakes a burnt out tennis ball for a bomb and immediately tries to protect Kaeloo and Mr. Cat from it.
  • Mr. Cat trying to help Stumpy and Kaeloo win against Quack Quack with no reward in it for him. Lampshaded by Kaeloo.
  • At the end of the episode, Bad Kaeloo beats up Mr. Cat, as usual. Then, after seeing him writhing in pain on the ground and whimpering, Bad Kaeloo appears genuinely concerned for his well-being, even before de-transforming.

Let’s Play Bye Bye Yogurt

  • Mr. Cat is actually nice to Quack Quack because he is undergoing an emotionally difficult situation, and he even gives him a yogurt as a gift at the end of the episode.
  • Stumpy willingly putting himself into serious danger to help Quack Quack snap out of his traumatized state.

    Season Two

Episode 54

  • Kaeloo letting go of Eugly so Quack Quack could date her instead.

Episode 55

What if We Played at Riding Ponies?

  • Kaeloo getting the unicorn she had dreamed of her whole life when Pretty takes away her "normal" horse.

Episode 57

  • Pretty is actually nice to Kaeloo in this episode, treating her as a friend instead of a rival.
  • Stumpy and Pretty immediately rally around Mr. Cat when he points out how unfair it is that Quack Quack keeps winning.
  • The sheer look of joy on Mr. Cat's face and the speech he gives when he thinks that for once he's having good luck. Doubles as a Tear Jerker when it becomes clear that he isn't.

Episode 61

  • Mr. Cat saving Quack Quack when he almost falls off the plane.
  • Pretty and Eugly trying to save the others when they’re trapped on the island.
    • Subverted in Pretty’s case as she only did it for Mr. Cat. The part where she knocks him out just so she can give him CPR also implies that she really doesn’t care about his feelings, just his body.
  • Eugly somehow had the courage to drag Pretty along on a mission she didn't even want to go on, in order to save not only Quack Quack, but Mr. Cat as well. She also rescues Kaeloo and Stumpy when she finds them, though the latter keeps trying to eat her since he's hungry.

Episode 60

  • Mr. Cat and Quack Quack go to the bar, and the former ends up getting too drunk to even stand up. Quack Quack helps him get up and tries to make sure he gets home safely.

Episode 62

  • Eugly beats up Mr. Cat for using violence against Quack Quack. And as a result, she wins something and is appreciated for once.

Episode 63

  • Kaeloo helping Stumpy stand up for himself.

Episode 67

  • Pretty yells at the others for criticizing her sister's dancing skills. Keep in mind, this is the girl who regularly insults her sister and treats her like a servant.
  • The cast attempting to do something for an ice cube's birthday just to keep Olaf happy.
  • Quack Quack inviting Eugly to dance, after everyone else blatantly disparages her.
  • Olaf applauds the ballet they performed even though it was an Epic Fail.

Episode 69

  • The episode starts with the main cast simply playing in the snow together, looking quite happy for once.
  • After hearing what Kaeloo's intentions are, Mr. cat offers to help her with no apparent reward in it for himself. Kaeloo is absolutely overjoyed to hear it.
  • Near the end, Kaeloo reveals why she was trying to teach her friends foreign languages: so they could let their foreign fans have a merry Christmas.
  • The others feel really bad for what they did when Kaeloo starts crying and tells them that they've let down their fans, and try to fix their mistakes because they genuinely care about their fans.
  • Kaeloo's attempts to speak English (in the French dub) are adorable.

Episode 72

Episode 76

  • The buddies appear to be genuinely worried for Mr. Cat despite all the bad things he’s done to them.
  • Mr. Cat finds the time-traveling car (a parody of the DeLorean) nearby and deduces that his friends must have come back to rescue him. Instead of returning home on his own and abandoning the others, he saves them from a stampede with no personal gain whatsoever. He really does care about them after all. The best part is Kaeloo's reaction: she sees him pull up to them and yells "You're alive!" with an expression of sheer joy.

Episode 77

Episode 80

  • Apart from chopping Quack Quack's arms off at the beginning of the episode, Mr. Cat makes no attempt to harm anybody in this episode. He even offers to hang out with Quack Quack over some yogurt at the end of the episode.
  • Pretty reads a piece of advice on the internet that says that a good way to attract a guy is having common interests. She decides to shoot Quack Quack with a bazooka since she believes that it qualifies as a "common interest" with Mr. Cat and will bring them closer, but it ends up having the opposite effect; Hypocritical Heartwarming kicks in and Mr. Cat is not very happy to see his friend getting hurt by Pretty.

Episode 83

  • When Stumpy insults Eugly, Pretty is quick to punch his lights out.
  • Kaeloo, who already has body image issues, has her curvy body insulted by Pretty; near the end, when Mr. Cat is helping Kaeloo get revenge on Pretty, he mentions that he thinks women with curves are good-looking.
  • Once Pretty is defeated and the main four are celebrating, Kaeloo gives Mr. Cat a hug.

Episode 84

  • Stumpy obviously loves Ursula very much.
  • Quack Quack believing Mr. Cat's Blatant Lies shows that he apparently trusts him despite all the bad things he’s done. Doubles as a Tear Jerker since that trust was betrayed.

Episode 86

  • Mr. Cat loses a bet to Kaeloo, which means that he has to do anything she tells him to. Kaeloo now has the ability to force the person who has constantly been annoying her, insulting her, and ruining her fun do something embarrassing or stupid to get revenge. But that's not what she does. Instead, she makes him visit a psychotherapist so he can get help for his issues.

Episode 87

  • Olaf temporarily gains the lead in the race; the first thing he does is yell "Olga, look! I'm the best!
  • Stumpy wins, and it's not even a Pyrrhic Victory.

Episode 90

  • The ending reveals that Kaeloo was trying to lose on purpose so Stumpy could win for once in his life.

Episode 91

  • Mr. Cat walks in on his friends making fun of him and is pissed off about it, for obvious reasons. Seeing the grumpy expression on his face, Kaeloo tries to cheer him up and invites him to play.
  • When Kaeloo tries to insult Mr. Cat, she also reveals that she doesn't blame him for being mean since she knows that he has issues.
  • After spending half an episode making fun of Mr. Cat and calling him names, Stumpy admits that he really admires Mr. Cat, thinks he has "class", and sees him as someone to look up to.

Episode 92

Episode 93

  • Kaeloo Baby Talking to Mr. Cat while they're enacting a scenario where she's a firefighter and he's an innocent cat stuck in a burning building is absolutely adorable.
  • During the scene above, in the French dub, she calls him "minou" (pussy/kitty). While this is normally a Berserk Button for him, he still allows her to get away with it.
  • Stumpy rushing into a burning building without a second thought to save Quack Quack, who is trapped inside.

Episode 97

  • Quack Quack complies with all of Mr. Cat's Reality Warping and hypnosis until it finally reaches a point where Stumpy is stuck in a pot of boiling water, and Mr. Cat bursts out laughing after seeing him in pain. Then, Quack Quack looks at him as if to say "What the hell, man?!" and outright refuses to help Mr. Cat any further.
  • All Kaeloo does to Mr. Cat for everything he does in this episode is give him one single Megaton Punch. She (along with Stumpy and Quack Quack) also tries singing for him to help him "find his inner child" (apparently unaware of the Laser-Guided Karma he was getting.)

Episode 99

  • Kaeloo apologizes to the others for getting angry, but finds out that nobody was even upset about it in the first place. When she cries about how much she hates transforming and never wants to do it again, Mr. Cat affectionately noogies her cheek, slaps her on the back, and tells her that he and the others like her just the way she is. Stumpy offers to let her play a video game so she can relax and take her mind off things.
  • Mr. Cat refuses to join the others at first, but he later concludes that he hates it when they have fun without him and joins in anyway.
  • Mr. Cat telling Stumpy to "let Kaeloo finish having fun".
  • Stumpy and Mr. Cat standing next to Kaeloo for a whole year waiting for her to finish having fun while appearing genuinely worried for her, and then deciding to save her.

Episode 100

Episode 103

  • The buddies trying to save Quack Quack from Olaf.
  • Mr. Cat yells at Olaf to give Quack Quack back, and actually seems quite angry about him being kidnapped. He doesn't say "Give the duck back," he says "Give my duck back!"

Episode 104

  • When Mr. Cat and Kaeloo are frozen alive and kept in People Jars, Mr. Cat says that he does trust Stumpy to save them.
  • Quack Quack bringing Olga Back from the Dead despite everything Olaf did to him and his friends over the past two episodes. Olaf is extremely grateful for this.

    Season Three

Episode 105

  • At the beginning of the episode, Kaeloo, Stumpy, and Quack Quack change the weather to make it snowy. Mr. Cat complains about how cold it is since cats hate cold weather. Kaeloo assures him that she thought of him and his needs before making the change, and opens a door to reveal a warm room with a fireplace and a comfy sofa full of pillows, which she had set up just for him.
  • A very minor one: Kaeloo's Imagine Spot of the main four sitting at home. In the Imagine Spot, Kaeloo, Stumpy, Quack Quack and Mr. Cat are happily sitting on the couch and drinking drinks from mugs. Kaeloo and Mr. Cat, who are not even sitting next to each other, smile at each other and reach past Quack Quack to clink their mugs together. It's especially heartwarming when you consider that the thing that started the plot was Kaeloo and Mr. Cat getting into a fight with each other.
  • When Mr. Cat finds out that his bazooka shoots out yogurt and can't do any real damage in "Yogurtland", he's disappointed, but he doesn't really do anything about it. What makes him start trying to destroy the place? Stumpy's anguished screams about how Ursula doesn't exist in this new world.
  • Quack Quack giving up his own yogurt-filled paradise so the others could be happy.
  • The way Mr. Cat interacts with the miniature Kaeloos is pure "d'aww".
  • When it seems like Stumpy is going to erase their current versions from existence, Mr. Cat holds Kaeloo's hand and puts an arm around Quack Quack's shoulder. Kaeloo also puts a hand on Stumpy's shoulder. They smile at each other. Made even more heartwarming by the fact that it was Mr. Cat who initiated the whole gesture.
  • Mr. Cat actually makes a genuine smile in this episode and it's absolutely adorable.
  • Stumpy not erasing his friends from existence and deciding that he likes Smileyland just the way it is.
    • Along those lines, another minor example: he didn't erase Pretty from existence either, as she is shown building a snowman.
  • Near the end, Pretty, Eugly and Olaf, who normally don't spend much time together, build a snowman together. It's nice to see them bonding and having fun.
  • The others decide not to make fun of Stumpy anymore, and they even have a Group Hug.

Episode 106

  • Mr. Cat lies to Kaeloo about collecting money for destitute children, and Kaeloo cries for the children's plight before donating her money and then smiling because she thinks she's helping the kids live happier lives.

Episode 107

  • Stumpy and Quack Quack get arrested, so Mr. Cat and Kaeloo have the place to themselves. Mr. Cat somehow racks up the courage to ask Kaeloo out on a date - unlike "Let's Play Babysitting", it'll be a real, romantic date that they set up on their own terms. Turns into a Tear Jerker when she misunderstands and ends up beating the tar out of him.

Episode 108

  • When Kaeloo transforms and beats up Stumpy, Mr. Cat shows up and starts cuddling her arm. Even better, this actually makes Kaeloo calm down enough to detransform and the scene ends with them smiling at each other.
  • Kaeloo declares that she will give Mr. Cat the Silent Treatment. The latter continues talking to her in a friendly tone as though nothing happened, and Kaeloo, who was actually devastated by the idea of not speaking to him anymore, is overjoyed that she wouldn't have to go through with it.

Episode 109

  • Mr. Cat is unusually nice to Kaeloo in this episode. This includes trying to comfort her when she cries, trying to help her with her issues and telling her how much he likes her.
  • Kaeloo affectionately touches Mr. Cat's hand lightly and tells him she's honestly touched that he knows her so well.
  • After successfully making Kaeloo transform, Mr. Cat compliments her looks, tries to confess his feelings for her (which fails, of course) and suggests that they run away and spend the rest of their their lives together.
    • Mr. Cat complimenting Bad Kaeloo on her looks becomes even more heartwarming when you remember her concerns about being ugly in "Let's Play Spies".
  • Bad Kaeloo ultimately fails at her goal of becoming good at speaking, but Mr. Cat assures her that she's perfect just the way she is, even if she never learns to stop using Hulk Speak.
  • Kaeloo and Bad Kaeloo sort of become friends by the end of the episode. At the very end, they hold hands. Of course, it turns out Kaeloo was holding thin air since both of them are the same person, but that doesn't make it any less heartwarming.

Episode 110

  • When Kaeloo and Mr. Cat turn Quack Quack back to normal, Kaeloo happily gives Quack Quack a hug.

Episode 111

  • The viewers, in-universe, sending nice messages to Kaeloo about how much they love her. And to top it all off there's Kaeloo telling them "she loves them too".

Episode 112

  • Which one of Kaeloo's friends knows her best? It's directly stated in this episode by Stumpy that the answer is Mr. Cat.
  • When Mr. Cat wins the bet, Stumpy congratulates him and tells him he respects him.

Episode 115

  • Kaeloo starts crying since she can't get Quack Quack to laugh and she's starting to think that maybe he doesn't have fun hanging out with her anymore. Mr. Cat's immediate response to seeing this is to whip out a pair of chainsaws and threaten Quack Quack into laughing.

Episode 116

  • At the end of the episode, Ursula visits Stumpy in the hospital when she finds out he's sick.

Episode 117

  • Quack Quack manages to channel Olga through his body. Olga then makes a very heartwarming speech to Olaf.

Episode 118

  • Near the end of the episode, the main four realize that they were a bit too mean and decide to give Pretty some gifts and apologize to her. Though it's subverted when they change their minds after finding out that she wrote a Tell-All book about them and published two million copies.

Episode 119

  • Kaeloo and Quack Quack find out that Mr. Cat and Stumpy are trapped in another dimension with no way to get home. Without so much as a second thought, they go in after them despite knowing that there's no way out.
  • Kaeloo and Mr. Cat doing a Security Cling during an earthquake in such a manner that it's more like a hug, not only protecting themselves, but each other as well.
    • Notably, this is the first time in the series where Mr. Cat actually hugs Kaeloo back.

Episode 121

  • The beginning of the episode. Mr. Cat and Stumpy are playing a new game which Mr. Cat invented, which involves launching Quack Quack out of a cannon at a bunch of sheep and knocking the sheep down. Not only are the two having fun, Quack Quack seems to be enjoying it. The only person who objects to it is Kaeloo, who suddenly shows up and expresses her anger about the game involving animal cruelty. The only response she gets to that is an affectionate pinch on the cheek from Mr. Cat, who finds her complaining adorable.
  • The fact that Olaf, who doesn't even know the main four that well, refers to them as a "little family" shows how close the four of them really are.
  • Kaeloo appears equally worried about her friends being potentially fired as she is about herself.
  • When the main four find out that they've been re-hired, they all start rejoicing. Stumpy in particular is quite happy, and Mr. Cat pats him on the head and assures him that the show would have needed him anyway since he's the "token disabled person". Despite the insult, it's clearly meant to be a heartwarming moment.

Episode 122

  • This episode is a Sequel Episode to "Once Upon a Time", and Mr. Cat has clearly come a long way since then. While that episode had him make up weird and terrifying bedtime stories just to torment Quack Quack and give him nightmares, in this one, he is busy trying to prepare Stumpy and Quack Quack for the world they will have to face once they become older and takes on the role of a big brother figure to them. He apparently finds their innocence "adorable".
  • After Stumpy and Quack Quack fall asleep, the episode ends with Kaeloo and Mr. Cat walking out of the room together while engaging in friendly banter.

Episode 125

  • Doubles as a Tear Jerker: Mr. Cat appears to have killed Quack Quack once and for all. When he realizes what he's done, Mr. Cat starts crying (along with Kaeloo and Stumpy). He may be mean to Quack Quack, but he really does care about him and certainly doesn't want him dead.

Episode 128

  • Kaeloo constantly compliments Stumpy on his schemes for them being realistic or creative despite not approving of them and gives him money each time he asks, until she finally gets fed up when he calls her in the middle of the night asking for more money.
  • Kaeloo cuddling Quack Quack and trying to console him after Mr. Cat traumatizes him.
  • At the end of the episode, Kaeloo beats Stumpy up for being an Ungrateful Bastard and throws him into the air. He lands near the bunny twins. While Pretty thinks he is faking, Eugly is concerned about him and gives him some money.

Episode 129

  • Kaeloo, feeling cold, snuggles up with a sleeping Mr. Cat. Later, Stumpy and Quack Quack make a lot of noise and Mr. Cat wakes up. When he notices Kaeloo next to him, he smiles tenderly and his eyes sparkle. It's not the usual perverted smile or Slasher Smile, but an actual smile which shows that he is really happy and touched by this.
    • This is especially heartwarming when you consider that earlier in the episode, he actually seemed hurt by Kaeloo telling him "We can manage perfectly fine without you" (as a response to him hurting Quack Quack under the guise of "helping").

Episode 132

  • Kaeloo appears genuinely touched when the sheep want to hang out with the main four. She tries her best to protect them from Mr. Cat, despite the fact that he's her best friend.
  • Each time Mr. Cat tries to attack the sheep, Kaeloo's response instead of transforming and hurting him is to suggest something else like tickling him.
  • Thanks to "Zumba With Friends", Mr. Cat becomes a kind, friendly, cheerful individual and accepts the sheep.

Episode 133

  • Kaeloo, after being told why she can't attend the party, is sitting alone in the forest and starts crying. Just then, Mr. Cat leaves the party and comes to check on her. At first, he just sits near her looking aloof, but he winds up feeling really sorry for her and even goes as far as to gently, comfortingly pat her on the back while listening to her as she talks to him about her feelings. He also gives her advice telling her that she doesn't have to be who other people want her to be, and it's enough to be herself.
  • The episode ends on a happy note for once, for everyone. They're all sitting around a campfire, singing songs, and being nice to each other.
  • When Pretty asks if she can join the others at the campfire, Kaeloo has no problem with allowing her in, and Mr. Cat even smiles once at her.

Episode 134

  • At the end of the episode, Kaeloo and Mr. Cat are forced to play several rounds of Me-Me-Nopoly with Stumpy and let him win as a punishment. When Mr. Cat asks how many times they have to do it, Kaeloo says they have to until he stops being mad at them for lying about the mail package. It's nice to see that they care enough about their friendship with Stumpy to do this for him.

Episode 135

  • When the main four think they’re in trouble with the director, Kaeloo quickly pulls out her phone to read positive reviews they got from the audience:
Kaeloo: Kaeloo, you’re adorable. Stumpy, you’re cute. Mr. Cat...
She turns around, smiles and winks at Mr. Cat
    Kaeloo: You’re really nice.
  • When it turns out that they're really not in trouble with the director and have nothing to worry about, Kaeloo and Mr. Cat shoot relieved smiles at each other and wink.

Episode 136

  • Mr. Cat offers to teach Kaeloo to lie to other people for two reasons: he saw Stumpy and Quack Quack being hurt by her Brutal Honesty, and he really didn't want to see Kaeloo lose her other friends.
  • In a flashback to when the main four were little, their teacher threatens to punish the whole class if someone didn't own up to misbehaving. Mr. Cat takes the blame and says he'd rather be punished for something he didn't do than see his friends get punished. As the teacher drags him out of the class to punish him, Kaeloo, Stumpy and Quack Quack cheer for him. Present Day!Kaeloo recalls the incident and appears touched by remembering it. Subverted when Present Day!Mr. Cat reveals that he lied about lying and he actually was guilty of misbehaving.
  • Kaeloo thanking everybody for helping her out.
  • When Kaeloo admits that she lied, everyone seems angry at her, but Mr. Cat quickly turns the situation around so everyone starts cheering for her instead.

Episode 138

  • It's not really clear whether Mr. Cat really believes that Stumpy has dyspraxia or he's just pretending to in order to annoy Kaeloo, but either way, it's nice of him to try to help Stumpy.
  • When Kaeloo starts yelling at Stumpy for throwing up and tries to force him to clean up the mess, Mr. Cat stops her and tells her she should be nicer to him.

Episode 141

  • There's a picture of Mr. Cat hanging on the wall of Kaeloo's bedroom. And there's hearts drawn on it.
  • Pretty and Eugly dancing together and smiling at each other during Stumpy's song. As minor as it may seem, it's still one of the rare times where the two sisters are just having fun together and enjoying each other's company.

Episode 142

  • Bad Kaeloo goes to her cousin Kevin's birthday party, and the rest of the main four follow her so they can spy on her. When Bad Kaeloo accidentally detransforms for a minute, her family starts mocking her; Stumpy and Mr. Cat immediately crash the party and start dancing to distract Kaeloo's relatives and get them to stop bullying her.
  • Kevin thanking Kaeloo for the birthday present she got him.

Episode 143

  • The main four trying to help Stumpy get over his fear of the dark, instead of making fun of him for it. They really are holding onto that promise from Episode 105.
  • When Ursula finds out that Smileyland has been plunged into darkness, she immediately decides to find Stumpy to see if he's okay. When she finally finds him, he gets over his fear of the dark because she's there with him, and that makes him feel less scared. As the couple walks away together, Mr. Cat talks about about how cute they are together, and Kaeloo agrees.
  • When Kaeloo turns the lights off for the first time in the episode, Stumpy starts screaming and Mr. Cat yells at Kaeloo to turn the lights back on because "she broke Stumpy".

Episode 145

  • It turns out Kaeloo isn't just willing to protect Quack Quack from getting hurt; when Quack Quack undergoes Demonic Possession, she's just as willing to protect Mr. Cat and Stumpy from getting hurt by him. The Kaeloo in this episode is a far cry from the one in the first season, who blatantly loved Quack Quack more than anyone else.
  • When one of Quack Quack's attacks sends the others flying into the air, Bad Kaeloo catches Mr. Cat in her arms before he hits the ground. He lovingly brushes his tail against her face and calls her "his hero".
  • At the end of the episode, Mr. Cat mockingly laughs at a ridiculous thing Kaeloo just told him; instead of getting offended, Kaeloo puts her hand on his shoulder and laughs along with him.

Episode 147

  • Kaeloo and Mr. Cat actually praise Stumpy's ideas instead of mocking him like they usually would.
  • During their song, Kaeloo and Mr. Cat look at each other and smile, and Kaeloo winks at Mr. Cat. The two of them are still smiling when they look away from each other. The best part? Nothing really happened to prompt it; there was no big emotional or dramatic event. It just happened.

Episode 148

  • Eugly defending Quack Quack by beating up Mr. Cat after Mr. Cat hurts Quack Quack.
  • Mr. Cat's montage showing him and Quack Quack having fun together during their usual routine where he inflicts horrific abuse on him. Both of them seem to enjoy it.
  • When Mr. Cat and Stumpy are trying to create false evidence that Quack Quack cheated on Eugly, Stumpy briefly begins to have second thoughts about doing something so harsh to his own best friend.
  • Pretty is absolutely infuriated when she hears that Quack Quack has been cheating on Eugly, not knowing that it’s a lie, and offers to help her sister get through the break-up.
  • When the bunny twins find out about Stumpy and Mr. Cat's scheme due to Stumpy's stupidity, instead of letting Stumpy take the blame and suffer the twins' wrath, Mr. Cat steps in between Stumpy and the rabbits and defends his friend.
  • When Stumpy starts insulting Eugly, Quack Quack stops him.
  • Kaeloo giving Eugly advice on how to solve her problems.
  • Eugly does everyone random favors like giving Mr. Cat a massage when he injures himself, using her Super-Strength to carry some fridges for Olaf, and playing video games with Stumpy. This results in them finally wanting to be her friends.

     Season Four

Episode 151

  • The cast get a letter addressed to all of them from a fan who talks about how much she loves them. While reading the last part, Kaeloo smiles at Mr. Cat while wiping a tear out of her eye.
  • At the end, the cast gets a ton of fan letters from people who love them.

Episode 152

  • When the trees start hitting Kaeloo, Mr. Cat picks up a chainsaw and threatens to destroy the entire forest.

Episode 161

  • The treasure inside the chest is a photograph of the main four sitting on the couch together from Kaeloo's Imagine Spot in Episode 105. Stumpy thinks the photo is a lame treasure, but Kaeloo points out to him that the photograph isn't what the treasure is - it's the main four's friendship, which is "the most beautiful treasure of all". The episode ends with a montage of the main four having fun together.

Episode 163

  • Instead of beating Mr. Cat up, Bad Kaeloo simply puts an arm around him and the two of them walk into the sunset, laughing together.

  • Kaeloo accepts Bad Kaeloo as part of herself.

Episode 165

Episode 168

  • The main four are given the task of writing about their biggest dream. • He will continue to hang out with Kaeloo and play games with her every day. The two of them will also work together to invent fun new games for children to play, and "Kaeloo will be proud of [Stumpy]".
    • Whatever Mr. Cat ends up doing in the future, Stumpy knows that he has enough potential to make a successful career out of it and do it "with style", and he wants to be his right-hand man.
  • When Mr. Cat is asked about his biggest dream, he reveals that his "dream" is already a reality - it's Kaeloo. As he lovingly caresses Bad Kaeloo's face, the audience starts chanting "Kiss! Kiss! Kiss!" and Mr. Cat tries to oblige by kissing her on the cheek.

Episode 171

  • The main four get into a huge fight in front of Stumpy's webcam while he's livestreaming and the viewers respond positively. Rather than get happy about the increasing number of views and likes, Stumpy angrily yells at the viewers for treating him and his friends like their problems are a source of entertainment and announces that his friends are more important to him than his viewers. The episode ends with him turning off the livestream and suggesting that the main four hang out with each other without anyone else watching them and judging them, and the main four happily playing a game of soccer together.

  • When it looks like Kaeloo is about to face a jail sentence with no way of getting out of it, and it's all because of Stumpy, Quack Quack, and a flower, Mr. Cat can be seen trying his best to calm her down. While it doesn't really work, it's the thought that counts.
  • Quack Quack and Stumpy drop their lawsuit against Kaeloo and give her a hug.

Episode 181

  • Mr. Cat makes Stumpy and Quack Quack have nightmares but winds up subjected to the same magic and ends up having a horrific nightmare himself. He wakes up breathing heavily and ends up curled up on his bed, shaking like a leaf.
