"Friends fight. Great friends make up."

As always, all spoilers are unmarked.

  • Julie and Daniel singing on stage for the first time. Despite getting off with the wrong foot (what with Daniel getting Julie in trouble at school and generally being a jerk due to her breaking the last copy of his band's album), he sees her hidden talent and how scared she is of showing it and decides to help her overcome her fears. Though Julie is initially nervous, she quickly becomes more confident and starts to actually have fun while singing. It's also the first time Daniel sings on stage after his death.
    • Bia telling Julie that, even if Nicolas didn't see her performance, everyone at school did, and they loved it.

  • Julie selling her records (which she'd previously said she would never sell) to Klaus to buy the boys some instruments. They're just so giddy at the idea of being able to play again after so many years, and Daniel's demeanor completely changes as he genuinely thanks Julie. It's the first time we see him act so sweet.
    • After this, they play a snippet of the song "Está Nas Minhas Veias" ("It's In My Veins"), which appears to be the only song that is actually from Apolo 81, the boys' original band.
  • Episode 3 might as well be the series' CMOH, due to how many sweet moments are in it. To start with, Daniel, Félix and Martim are playing a tune for Julie, who's trying to write a song for it, but is having a hard time. She asks them to play it again, which they happily do.
  • Daniel enjoying a concert and just taking in the music. You can tell he just feels so alive.
  • When Julie and Bia fight because Julie can't tell her about the ghosts, she asks them to make themselves visible to Bia, which they initially refuse to do. Crossing over with Funny, Daniel immediately caves in upon seeing Julie about to fake cry (despite just having compared losing a friend to losing his wallet) and she excitedly hugs him.
    • After not making themselves visible to Bia due to Demetrius threatening them the first time, Daniel tells Julie they will do it, since he never cared about rules anyway. Then Julie tells him she doesn't want to be friends with Bia anymore...
Daniel: Listen, Julie, I'll tell you one thing; it's maybe the only truth I know in this life. Friends fight. Great friends make up.
  • Julie puts all of her pictures with Bia and a Frankie doll Bia gave her in a box and tells Félix and Martim to throw it away. When she frantically looks for it again after coming to her senses, they reveal they never threw it away.
  • The make up scene. So much! Pedrinho tells Bia Julie needs her and they both hurry to their house, where they find a guitar, a bass and a set of drums playing the tune from the beginning of the episode seemingly by themselves and look in amazement as the ghosts reveal themselves one by one (keep in mind Pedrinho has spent the previous episode and the first half of this one trying to communicate with them). Then Daniel presents Julie, who has found what to write her song about: her friendship with Bia. Julie sings as the camera shows that she's put the pictures of her and Bia back up on her wall.
Julie: (in tears) Do you remember the first thing I said to you when we met?
Bia: (also crying) "Your shoe's untied".
    Julie: ... And the second?
Bia: "Do you want to be my friend?"
    (Julie nods and they hug)
  • Julie makes Daniel follow Nicolas to see if he talks about her as a condition for coming back to the band after Daniel essentially kicked her out. When he, Félix and Martim follow Nicolas, he doesn't talk about Julie until Valtinho brings her up and then calls her bland. Daniel claims he's going to tell her anyways, but then the moment comes.
Daniel: He said that... (sees Julie staring at him with Puppy-Dog Eyes) Your eyes.
Julie: My eyes? What about my eyes?
Daniel: You have the prettiest eyes he's ever seen. And that, sometimes, he has to try hard not to be hypnotized. That he could spend hours not doing anything... Just looking at them.
  • Julie intentionally fumbling the oral presentation she studied really hard for (to prove she could actually get good grades after cheating on every test with Daniel's help) so Shizuko feels better and gets a higher grade than her this time.
    • Later, the boys making a song to help Julie study.
  • Julie and Daniel start spending time together when Bia keeps blowing Julie off for her terrible boyfriend . The first thing they do is break into a music store and play all the instruments all night long while singing the first song they ever sang together. Then they lay on the grass in the park while they have a conversation about love, which culminates with Daniel saying that heaven is here on earth and asking Julie if Bia is going to be with her boyfriend the next day. They keep going on what are, essentially, dates and they seem really happy until Nicolas shows up...
    • In that same episode, Bia breaking up with her boyfriend (who spent the entire episode criticizing every single thing that Bia likes and making her change) once she realizes that, if he doesn't like her for her, he's not worth it.

  • Klaus' fortune teller girlfriend tells Julie that the boy who gives her something she didn't know she'd lost will be her first boyfriend. As the boys are about to go to Julie's Mad Scientist teacher's house to free Demetrius and Julie wants to help, this exchange occurs:
Daniel: Julie, no chance,; it's too dangerous. Go back home.
Julie: (reluctantly) ... Okay... Just be careful. And good luck.
(They smile softly at each other)
Daniel: ... We'll be back soon. (he and the boys start to leave)
Julie: ¡Oh, Daniel! Uhh... Umm... I wanted to ask you... Did you find something of mine?

  • "Bye Bye, Julie" is a bittersweet, though upbeat sounding goodbye song Daniel composes for Julie after Demetrius forces the boys to leave Julie for good and allows them one last concert. He calls it the most important song of their band and sings for her on stage, with Julie being very flattered and getting quite close.
"I want to see your smile and remember you here / You are the sun to me"
