Episode 1 - Beginning of the War
  • The episode begins with Princess Finé dreaming of her first meeting with the young witch Izetta during their childhood. The fact she dreams about it shows how much the memory means to her.
  • How much Princess Finé cares about others is constantly shown throughout this episode.
    • Despite not getting to know either Tobias nor Hermann very well, you get the sense that Izetta has known them for a long time, and she cares about both of them just like they were willing to put their lives on the line for her.
    • As Tobias dies, she promises him that his sacrifice will not be in vain.
    • Princess Finé wishes to reward the Innkeeper for letting them stay since sheltering her is dangerous. However, the Innkeeper used to live in Eylstadt, and she considers it an honor to help her former Princess. She even lends the princess clothing for the opera.
    • Doubles as awesome when Princess Finé offers herself up for a political marriage to Prince Henry for the sake of her people. It shows political skills and a care for her people.
    • When Princess Finé thinks she might die, she remains defiant to her Germanian captors that she will fight with her citizens as long as she lives.
  • Izetta being woken up by Princess Finé's voice and recognizing it despite barely waking up.
    • The fact both girls recognize each other despite apparently not seeing each other for some time.
    • Izetta's first reaction to seeing Princess Finé injured is to unleash her power against their Germanian captors and immediately using her powers to save the princess before she falls to her death.
  • The look in Princess Finé's eyes when Izetta saves her. She looks the most happy she's been throughout the entire episode.

Episode 2 - Scars and Gunfire
  • The relationship between Izetta and Finé as demonstrated in this episode is rather sweet.
    • Finé immediately thanks Izetta for saving her life. Even though Izetta claims she isn't worthy of Finé's praise, she is very happy to be reunited with Finé.
    • When Izetta's power is about to run out, Finé takes action of her own and tells Izetta that she won't let only her hands be stained with blood.
  • Izetta's flashbacks to her childhood with Finé are adorable.
    • The flashback where Finé is injured is expanded upon in this episode indicating that Finé does not blame Izetta for the injury.

episode 3 - The Sword in the Heavens
  • The Eylstadt soldiers, though shocked and confused by the appearance of a flying red-haired girl who swoops in and single-handedly starts turning the tide of battle, don't panic at the sight of Izetta or her magic. They're quick to realize that she's helping them out, and once they get a message from Finé confirming that Izetta is on their side, immediately rally behind her.
    • This level of acceptance continues after the battle. Upon seeing Izetta carrying their princess down to them, Jonas removes his helmet out of respect and starts singing the Eylstadt national anthem with every other soldier soon joining in.
  • While the Archduke succumbs to his illness, he dies knowing that his daughter is alive and with the White Witch's help, his country might still have a future.

Episode 4 - The Secret of the Witch
  • Finé's father was clearly well-loved by his subjects. His death has even General Schneider weeping.
