• In the finale, Guy Gardner is so happy when he sees that his friend John Stewart is still alive after Hal Jordan told him that he died when Oa was destroyed.
• New recruit Ergann is at peace with making a Heroic Sacrifice because his people measure the value of their lives in how far they can travel before they die. Given that the Green Lantern Ring has let him travel light years he is content in having gone further than any of his race have ever gone before.
