While it may seem oxymoronic to use the word Heartwarming for someone named Glacier, he has had some moments that qualify.
- Fulfilled a childhood dream of becoming a World Tag Team Champion when he and Jason Sugarman defeated the New Heavenly Bodies ("Classy" Chris Nelson and "Vivacious" Vito DeNucci) for the NWA World Tag Team Titles
on December 28, 2001. - The terrific reaction he received when Leonard F. Chikarason announced him as the partner for Los Ice Creams in their match against Los Luchadores De Mexico (Incognito/El Pantera/Lince Dorado) at CHIKARA King of Trios 2008 Night II, March 1, 2008. As a frame of reference, this show was held at the then-New Alhambra Arena in Philadelphia, the same building that had previously been known as the ECW Arena. It speaks very well as to how CHIKARA had changed the attitudes of the Philadelphia fans that they would welcome Glacier, an ex-WCW guy who had never really gotten over in his home promotion, the way they did.note
- He also got a wild reaction when he appeared in Ring of Honor's 2017 Honor Rumble as the 20th and final entrant. Everyone watching marked out, especially the commentators and ROH World Champion Cody Rhodes, while the wrestlers themselves were stock still, watching him walk to the ring. Best part? ROH was taping at Center Stage in Atlanta that day, so Glacier was basically returning home.
