Heartwarming / Friendly Foreign Exchange Student Spider-Man!

  • Traditionally, the Marvel Universe always forces Spider-Man to live through hell and back because he's trying to do the right thing and help people. In the MHA universe? Not only Peter Parker's heroic potential is immediately acknowledged and given the tools to blossom, people believe and assure him that he's not only going to be good at it, but he's also going to be amazing.
  • Yu Takeyama offers herself as a guardian for Peter. She didn't know him yesterday, but she couldn't live with herself if she ever let a scared and confused teenager down. She lived through this, after all.
  • Peter's small memorial to his loved ones. He does not forget why he decided to become a Hero.
  • After USJ training went to hell even worse than canon, All Might personally visits all of the students involved into the fiasco, giving them a pep-talk and walking them through their traumas.
    • His discussion with Peter leads him to gently dispel the teenager's fear to never be worthy from Iron Man's legacy. Tony Stark wouldn't have picked Peter if he didn't think the teen able to surpass him, and as he believed, so Peter will do, and one day, someone is going to look at Spider-Man and pick the mantle up.
  • The Red Team praises Shinsho Hitoshi for being singlehandedly responsible of the War of the Flags concluded by a tie, and him slightly blushing. After a lifetime of being called out on his villainous Quirk, he's finally the hero of the story.
    • Even better, Pro Heroes Edgeshot and Gang Orca were watching and declare him Hero material, no hesitation about it.
  • Peter's reunion with Karen is practically overflowing with heartwarming, and their subsequent interactions will put a smile on many a face.
    • A reunion made possible by Mei, who immediately decided she needed to save "Peter's adoptive baby" when she learned of her existence.
  • Slightly on the bittersweet side, Peter bonding with an American tourist he just got to save from a car accident, and who's clearly modelled after Stan LeeWord of God confirms it was because the anniversary of his passing was near.
  • Gang Orca calling Nezu an old friend. With the former being a UA alum, it is nice to hear that a mentor and a pupil still see each other in good graces.
  • The day after Bakugo and Pony save a family from a burning building, that family visit them at the hero agency to thank them personally. While Bakugo was used to being praised as hero-worshipped, this level is sincere gratitude perplexes him, especially when the daughter looks to him as though he was All Might and proclaiming that she wants to grow up to be like him.
  • The time spent by Peter, Midoriya, Mei, Momo, Shoto, and Fuyumi exploring I-Island is this, mixed with equal parts funny. After the emotional rollercoaster of the Internship arc, it was refreshing just to see the characters get out and relax. Even if it doesn't last, it was still a sweet scene.
  • Chapter 56 sees Peter and Yu return home after an inter-agency meeting in preparation for the Hassaikai Raid. With Peter angsting over the string of failures he had both in this story and the one leading up to it. Yu, seeing Peter in distress, gives him a hug and proceeds to give him a pep-talk that would've made May and Ben proud. Culminating in Yu telling Peter that, for all his mistakes, he still showed her that she wasn't a screw-up. Despite all of her short-comings, he showed her that she could be better, and inspired her to do so. MCU or not, It's a good reminder why Peter is often considered The Heart of the Marvel Universe, even if he himself can't see it.
