    Flash vs. Arrow (The Flash
  • Crossing over with Tear Jerker, Felicity requests that Caitlin study and find the genetic markers in a DNA sample from Sara's murder. Caitlin promises to do her best, and they hug.
  • Oliver's first line in the episode: "Nice mask."
  • Despite their fight, Oliver and Barry end the episode on a friendly note, complete with Oliver giving Barry advice on how to be a better superhero. It's been hinted at in the past, but this episode really cements a sort of big brother/little brother dynamic between the two friends and allies.
  • The episode starts off with Barry helping people with everyday tasks, like giving flowers to a fighting couple, helping a painter paint a house, and trying to get two shy people together.
  • Barry's talking about how feelings are supposed to be quantified by science, but that Iris' smile and the way it makes him feel simply cannot be explained by science.
Barry: As a scientist, I know there's nothing magical about what makes us feel something for someone else. But then I see her smile...Man, that cannot be science.
  • Singh talking about his boyfriend, showing even otherwise cold and authoritative people have loved ones.
  • It happens for just a second but Iris getting through to the Flash to stop his Rage influenced assault on Eddie by talking about how she believes in him. This of course crosses over to a particularly hilarious Moment of Awesome as one second after his calm he goes Red Eyed apeshit yet again on Eddie's face before being stopped by the Arrow.
Iris: What are you doing? What has happened to you?
    Barry/The Flash: I feel fine!
    Iris: You are not fine!
Barry/The Flash: How would you know because you write about me? YOU DON'T KNOW ME!!! You don't know who I am, you never did.
Iris: I know that you have risked your life to help people, to save them! Someone who does that does not suddenly turn around and hurt people...Please!
  • Notably, even when Barry is launching Rapid-Fire Fisticuffs against Oliver, he's aiming to hurt, not kill. Even with the rage plague, part of him still can't bring himself to actually kill his friend.

The Brave and the Bold (Arrow
  • Diggle proposes to Lyla.
  • Oliver starts to feel that he's losing bits of his humanity to the Arrow, and maybe Oliver Queen is just a cover for the brutal vigilante. Barry tells him he's full of crap, because no one who's been through as much as he has and still became a hero could be completely corrupted. For bonus points, Barry seems to be imitating Joe West.
  • Barry's method of disarming the five bombs? Get the combined forces of Teams Flash and Arrow to help them. Also counts as a Moment of Awesome.
  • Oliver reveals he had Felicity install an extra mannequin in the Foundry for the next time Barry's in town, cementing that despite their different personalities, the two will indeed work together many times into the future.
Oliver: I'm still calling the shots, though.
    Barry: We'll talk about that.
Oliver: (grinning) Yes, we will. And then I'll call the shots.
  • Cisco gives Oliver a new Arrow suit that's more durable and can carry more gear. He notes he was going to get rid of the hood, but Felicity told him to keep it because it has "sentimental value".
  • At the end Barry tells Oliver he was wrong when he said Barry could inspire people in the way he could not. The Arrow may not be able to do it (because he's a douche), but the person Oliver Queen can.
  • Just like the Flash episode that preceded it, despite the Let's You and Him Fight advertising of the crossover, Oliver and Barry never actually turn on each other despite some serious disagreements, and their eventual fight is completely a friendly one.
