Season 1

Season 2

    Episode 3
  • Lindsay has run away from home because of her overbearing father, taking up residence at the Turners'. Because of this, and especially after her mother's body has been found, George seeks out Bill Jr. and talks with him to help him cope with the news and help him take Lindsay back.
  • Lindsay, who previously showed no emotion at all about the discovery of her mother's body, begins sobbing at her funeral.
  • After the funeral, all of Weld show up at the Boat House to have a good time and let off steam following the day's events.

    Episode 4
  • Woody, after being turned down by Tracey, begins falling in love with Becks, who's in town for the Summer. They end up having a relationship for a time.

    Episode 5
  • Zac takes George aside and asks him about his intentions with Katie. Though Zac and Katie have parted ways a while ago, it's clear that he still cares about her, if not being somewhat overprotective of his ex.
  • Big Mac decides to temporarily postpone the development of a retirement property at the campsite, much to Weld's delight.

    Episode 6
  • Becks and Tracey bond over Woody as he lies in a coma.
  • Eventually, Tracey realizes that she does have feelings for Woody after all. Becks realizes this as well, so she decides to break up with Woody, though she tells him when he wakes up from his coma.
  • Tracey confesses to Woody that her reasons for not wanting a relationship with him were all lies. Woody knew this all along.
  • At the end of the episode, as a show of gratitude to George, Woody takes him and his children to a secret natural spring pool (complete with waterfall!) that only the locals know about and where they can go to escape the Summer people. The Turners have officially become locals.

    Episode 8
  • Siouxsie leads a small cheering section for her dad Monty as he gets a moment to shine during the Weld-Stafford cricket game.
  • George and Fiona share an embrace following their team's victory over Stafford.
  • Big Mac gets a moment as he hooks up with Rae, Stafford's team captain.

    Episode 9
  • Siouxsie quits her job at McNamara realty because she can't stand Robbie, especially the way he treats her dad. She calls her dad out for being a moron, though, because he lets Robbie walk all over him. Though angry at her dad, she still cares for him.
  • Monty shows up to George's office and begins sulking. Thankfully, George snaps him out of his funk and convinces him to stand up to both Robbie and Big Mac, which he does.
  • By the end of the episode, Monty stands up to Robbie and takes back his job. Siouxsie, who had been staying over at Big Mac's house, then moves back in with her father and gets her old job back.

    Episode 16
  • After Hannah's heart gets broken by Terry, Woody does everything he can to comfort her.

Season 3

    Episode 1
  • After Zac, Ike, and Steve get lost at sea at the end of last season, it's a relief to all of Weld that all three men make it back alive.
  • Shay, who had earlier broken up with Ike over his objections to her participation in Katie's art scheme, doesn't hesitate to embrace him after he turns up alive.

    Episode 2
  • George takes care of Jan's twin boys while she recovers from life-threatening injuries sustained while giving birth. It's clear that he relishes the opportunity to become a father again, though it ends up not being the case.
  • When Steve finds out that he's the father of Jan's twin boys, he embraces his new responsibility.

    Episode 3
  • After Siouxsie sees Shay have an emotional breakdown over Ike in front of Zac at the grocery store, she runs to the freezer where Shay has been hiding. The girls have a silent bonding moment.
  • Later on, Siouxsie brings some ice cream to help Shay cope with her latest breakup. Eventually, she gets out of her funk and decides that she doesn't need Ike.
Shay: I don't need him. I have vanilla flavored ice cream.

    Episode 4
  • Throughout the episode, Shay and Siouxsie grow closer together as Shay participates in Siouxsie's kickboxing boot camp so she can let out any feelings she has towards Ike.
  • Hannah tells Constable Tom her reasons for wanting to join the police force: She wants to change her life and move on from her past self, which came to its apex with Terry's arrival and swift departure from Weld. Tom is actually somewhat moved by it and gives her a post as his assistant after his current assistant retires.

    Episode 5
  • Woody's first meeting with Poppy kicks off on the wrong foot, namely because up until that moment, he didn't even know he had fathered a daughter with Mary. When he sees her fixing a doorpost, they bond over their shared love of building and woodworking.
  • Monty and Siouxsie show up at George's place and ask Shay if they could stay over for a while as their roof has a leak that can't be fixed until Woody comes back from Australia. After Siouxsie reminds her dad it's not a good idea for them to stay at Big Mac's place (because of the emotional abuse Monty is put through while staying there), Shay lets them stay over.
  • Mary, when asked by George if she still loves Woody, replies, "Well, everybody loves Woody."
  • Before leaving back to New Zealand, Woody makes one final request to Mary, now his newly divorced ex-wife. He asks if he could take Poppy back to Weld with him. She lets her go with him, though it would inevitably bring more trouble when he comes back home to Tracey.
  • By the end of the episode, George's house has become a place of refuge. Monty and Siouxsie use his facilities while they sleep outside in their camper van, and Woody and Poppy take up residence temporarily after Tracey kicks him out of her house for lying about his trip to Australia. But at least the houseguests are helpful.

    Episode 6
  • Monty wants to have a fondue party in honor of George's generosity during a time of need, though he's not quite appreciative of it as he's trying to kick people out of the house (in a discreet manner, of course).
  • In a surprising move, Big Mac decides to let Arlo and Lindsay stay at his house.
  • While in Mrs. Ferguson's bach (Summer home), Shay and Siouxsie decide that they should move in together for a time.
  • Of course, the biggest heartwarming moment comes towards the end of the episode when Woody, having finally gotten over his fear of speaking to Tracey (thanks to George and Poppy), goes to Tracey's house. After George gives them a Rousing Speech about how their love should not be killed over a stupid mistake on Woody's part, Tracey forgives him and takes him back. Woody later on goes outside and announces to the townsfolk gathered outside the house that their wedding is back on!
  • George and Monty have the following exchange after he finally kicks him out of the house:
George: It's called tough love, Monty.
Monty: [pausing to think for a moment] You love me! [Pause.] Well, I'm quite fond of you, too.
George: Tough love. Tough. It's a saying. [Beat]
George: Aw, damn it, alright, alright. I love you.
    Monty: Aww!
