Heartwarming / Don't Look Up

• When Yule, Kate, and Mindy see the comet with the naked eye, it inspires them to spread the news on social media. Seeing all the comments and posts supporting Kate are very heartwarming to see, as many have spent the entire movie blaming her for the comet. Seeing people do a 180 on their thoughts on her is a a nice change of tone from the first half, and its what inspires the 'Just Look Up' movement.
• Yule initially starts off as an annoying fan of Kate's, but over time proves to be a nice guy and wins her affections.
• While it does double as a Tearjerker, the fact that the most likable members of the cast all have one last dinner together at Randall's family's home. They know it's the end, but they want to spend their final minutes on Earth enjoying each other's company.
  • Yule's prayer also deserves special mention. Out of all the topics harshly parodied and satirized to hell and back, religion is the one topic that is played dead seriously. Hearing Yule's prayer is a nice sound to hear, as it's a source of comfort during the final moments.
  • Adding onto this, this is a nice way to prove Isherwell's previous callous statement to Randall that he would die alone wrong. Randall earns his wife's forgiveness, gets to have a nice dinner with his sons, and share fun stories together before the end comes. They're all facing death, but they'll all do it together.
  • The Mindy family, along with Kate, Teddy, and Yule join hands as Yule says a very sweet and heartfelt prayer.
