Heartwarming / Destiny of the Shrine Maiden

• Himeko and Makoto's reconciliation in Episode 9. Not only does Makoto save Himeko from Chikane's fangirls, but she apologizes for pushing her away.
• While much of the finale is a Tear Jerker, a lot of it is very heartwarming, including Chikane and Himeko's confessions to each other, their final moments together before Chikane is locked away in the lunar shrine, and of course, the epilogue showing the two reuniting.
• When Tsubasa asks Souma if he can still be satisfied after sacrificing himself to the Orochi's curse for Himeko, who loves Chikane rather than Souma, Souma says, "Yes. Because Himeko's alive. That's enough for me. I don't have any regrets." After Souma asks Tsubasa if he's similar, Tsubasa grudgingly releases Souma's curse so as to allow him "to be a fool to the end."
