- While it's meant to be a Funny Moment, Ms. Kwan's adult night class students chipping in to pay for the 12 dozen fast food chicken wings Spinner and Jimmy ordered in her name as a revenge prank.
- Jimmy comforting Marco after he'd been gay-bashed. It made me all choked up.
- Jimmy during that entire episode was a CMOH. When Spinner is writing homophobic slurs against Marco on the bathroom wall and Jimmy sees it, he says to Spinner, "Are you going to write something about me being black?"
- Ashley gets a surprising number of CMOH's; the three that stand out though, include:
- Paige comforting Ellie when she learns that Ellie has been cutting herself in "Whisper To A Scream".
- Several scenes during Snake's cancer treatment, but two that stand out are his reunion with Wheels, when they go bowling and Wheels comforts him. The second is during "Holiday," when the class presents him with an Elvis wig.
- Sean and Ellie on the roof in "Take On Me":
Sean: "You'e not scared of me?"
Ellie: "Nope. You're not freaked by me?"
Sean: "Nope."
Ellie: (rolls up her sleeve, revealing her self-inflicted cuts) Are you freaked now?
(Sean, silently, runs his fingers down her arm and takes her hand, intertwining his fingers with hers).
- The last shot of "Time Stands Still", with Emma embracing a distraught Toby at the post-shooting school vigil.
- The webisodes "I won't forget" and "Six Months" (which also double as tearjerkers).
- Clare comforting Darcy after her stalker Adams is arrested. Darcy's concerned that people will find out about the lewd pictures and make fun of her. Clare's response?
"If they do, I'll punch them."
- There's a small moment in Season 7's "Sweet Child O' Mine" where Mia asks Liberty if she can take some of the leftover party supplies from an upcoming dance for her daughter Isabella's birthday. Liberty agrees and even lets her know where some extra supplies are, causing Mia to call her a lifesaver and give her a hug. Considering the history between the two regarding JT and Mia keeping and raising a child as a teen being a sore spot for Liberty in the past (as Liberty gave her and JT's son up for adoption), it's very sweet to see them on good terms.
- For the school memorial for JT, Mia wants to include a tape of JT playing with her daughter Isabella. After much arguments about it and tensions between Liberty, Mia, and Toby, Liberty eventually changes her mind and allows it to play. Besides the footage itself, it also allows Liberty to finally cry out her feelings and gives her at least some closure.
- Sean comforting Manny while she's blaming herself for J.T's death.
- The final scene of the season 7 finale where recently graduated Emma, Toby, Liberty, and Manny go to the courtyard dedicated to JT, place a graduate cap in front of a framed picture of him, and move the tassel to the left.
- The entire school applauding Holly J. for saving Spinner's life at the Black and White Dance. Even Bruce congratulates her.
- When Fiona comes out to her Mom.
- KC and his mother asking Jenna to move into their apartment.
- Riley bidding on Zane at the date auction.
- After Clare reads Eli's play and realizes she misjudged it.
- Bianca was basically a fountain of CMOH's during "Dead and Gone Pt.1 & 2", and heck, Season 11 as a whole. Also, in that episode, Mama Torres gets one herself at the end, when she agrees to help Bianca out with the legal battles that are about to ensue.
- If you are a fan of Bianca, "Hollaback Girl (Part 1)" is full of these. It truly shows how much this character has developed since Season 10, to the point where she pulls away from a kiss she clearly wanted because she knows it's wrong. Bianca. Pulled. Away. From. A. Kiss. She. Wanted. Because. It. Was. Wrong. Also a happy Tear Jerker for most Bianca fans, because she's all grown up now. (And it looks as though Mature Bianca is here to stay.)
- Also if you are a fan of the Drianca relationship, this episode and from the looks of it part 2, looks like they never really stopped loving each other...
- Another Bianca one- when she finds Campbell a sobbing wreck in the girls' bathroom, so consumed by his anxieties that until she accused him of being a perv and he looked up and saw the tampon dispenser he didn't realize he was in the wrong bathroom, she quickly shifts gears, listens to his problems and gives him the support and advice he needs.
- Rounding out the Bianca/Drianca Trifecta with the proposal scene in "Sabotage pt.2". Yes, things don't really pan out well for happy couples but considering the growth Bianca and Drew (yes, he HAS grown okay) have shown through their behaviors before and during "All Falls Down" to now and how much they really do want to spend the rest of their lives together and how seriously they take this and how in love they are and how they've become better people as a result of what they've been through.
- After Jenna announces her pregnancy on Next Teen Star and national TV, other than one contestant Hayley, the other contestants don't shame her and still show kindness and support for her. After she's eliminated, not only are the others sad to see her go, the host asks if she'll still continue her singing, gives her some encouraging advice on her baby situation, and kindly wishes her luck.
- Spinner and Emma's drunken marriage turning into one so strong that Season 15 reveals they're still together.
- Jane races to try and stop the wedding, but when she sees Spinner in his suit, confident and happy, she realizes he's better with Emma than he could ever be with her and lets him go live his own life.
- Pretty much every graduation scene.
- So, so many in the end of Season 12's "Time of My Life" sees Mo start a spontaneous musical number where everyone sings and dances to "(I've Had) The Time Of My Life", dedicating it to his beloved Marisol. He also consolidates his bromance with Jake to stay friends after graduation. On a lesser note, Jake and Katie and Eli and Clare getting back together. It's a fun and touching way to send off the class of 2012.
- The end of Season 14 (and the end of TNG) sees Imogen and Becky officially calling each other best friends, Drew's friends refusing to exclude him from graduation, Coach Armstrong dedicating a spot in the graduating lineup to Adam, and Eli and Clare pledging to find their way back to each other after she goes off to figure out who she is without him. It all culminates in Becky making up for Imogen's missed fun at prom by starting a conga line, ending with all of the class of 2013 chanting the only line fitting enough to end the series on.

- Owen telling his openly gay brother Tristan that he loves him.
- Tori's apology speech at the Miss Millennial Pageant.
- Drew asking Adam to be his best man.
- The scene where Cam spent the night at Maya's house in "Bitter Sweet Symphony Pt. 1", complete with Maya sharing the story of Hoot, the stuffed animal she's had since she was little. Later, Cam has to leave early for hockey practice, but he leaves her a video message, thanking her for the best night he's ever had and revealing he "kidnapped Hoot" with an Evil Laugh. This becomes Harsher in Hindsight, though, considering what happens at the end of the episode...
- When Dallas is on the rooftop in "Bitter Sweet Symphony Pt. 2," Fiona tells him there must be someone worth living for. She mentions Alli, and while it would make sense that this would be the thing to pull him back, the reveal a few episodes later that he is a father makes this a subtle Heartwarming in Hindsight moment.
- There's a moment in Season 13 in "Basket Case" that acts as a call back to the above scene. Dallas is waiting outside of Leo's place, knowing that he physically abused Alli and is ready to confront him. The sight of a child playing gives him pause, and he calls his son as a reminder of what would he would lose if he were to be arrested or worse. His son Rocky is truly the thing that holds him together in times of need.
- Zig's apology to Tori, Maya, his french teacher, and for what he said to Cam in "Karma Police Pt. 2" that may have contributed to Cam's suicide.
- "You Are Not Alone" has a big one near the end. When Winston goes outside, Frankie throws off her robe, revealing herself in a pink bikini, which causes a stunned Winston to fall into the pool. She pulls him out, and at first he's mad, thinking she wore the bikini to distract him, but when he tells her she's been trying to make him look dumb all week, she says that she never thought he was a loser, and she wanted him to see the MASH game. They kiss in the pool, and say "Miles can never know about this" before they kiss again. All as Fitz and the Tantrums' "Out of my League" plays in the background. Very, very cute.
- Zig and Maya's first time properly making love at the end of "#yesmeansyes".
- Miles comforting Hunter stopping him from shooting up the school in "#sorrynotsorry".
- Zoë finally admitting her lesbianism out loud to Winston in "#OMFG". Winston's reaction to it was also very sweet.
- #ThrowbackThursday" is a great 500th-anniversary episode that shows how several past characters are doing. Among highlights: Emma and Spinner are still together, Holly J and Liberty are both doing well, and Paige and Marco have patched up their friendship.
- Lola and Yael's friendship beginning in Next Class Season 3 is quite moving. Two girls who couldn't be more different in personality, style, interests, goals, etc, come to have one of the deepest friendships on the show. First, in "#IRegretNothing" in Season 3, Yael immediately offers to accompany Lola to the hospital to have an abortion without judgment or a second thought, and supports her decision to discuss it on their vlog.
- Lola then returns her support for Yael in Season 4 in "#FactsOnly" when she begins having concerns about how she views her body and her gender in general. When Yael reveals that they don't feel like either male or female, Lola helps Yael to understand that they may be gender non-binary. She even gives Yael a makeover so they can finally see themselves the way they have always wanted. Yael begins tearing up and tells Lola it's perfect.
- The season 3 finale "#ImSleep"ends with Miles, Esme, Zig, Grace, Tristan, and Jonah waiting in the ER to confirm the status of a post-suicide-attempt Maya. The joy/relief when Katie tells them that she's going to survive tops it all off.
- Just before this, Esme was freaking out over seeing Maya dying on the roof and doing everything she could to keep her as stable as possible until the ambulance arrived. She's probably the last person you'd expect to see get so worked up for Maya's sake, but then you remember that the same thing happened with her mother when she was little. In this moment, Esme was refusing to let another person take their own life on her watch.
- The last two episodes of Next Class season 4 have a lot of heartwarming moments, both big and small, that signify how far the class of 2016 has come.
- Miles and his father seem to come to a place of understanding, with Mr. Hollingsworth telling Miles he's proud of him and allowing him to use his trust fund to pay for his writing program.
- Miles and Tristan dance together at the hospital before Miles leaves for Europe.
- Zoe's friends all rally around her and promise to be there for her after her mother cuts her out of her life entirely.
- Tristan graduates his rehab program.
- Shay and Tiny share a goodbye before Tiny leaves for Caltech.
- Goldi and Winston rekindle their friendship at prom and seem to grow closer at university.
- Grace finally gets her lung transplant, and Jonah is right there at her side.
- The final shot of Maya and Zig driving together to So Cal Art, with it being left ambiguous as to whether they are back together or just traveling together as friends. It's even more fitting as they were two of the first characters graduating to appear on-screen all the way back in Season 11.
- Stephen Stohn eventually confirmed Zig and Maya end up together, making their final scene all the more heartwarming.
- An example relating to the cast, rather than the show: For a while it seemed like Aubrey Graham had just kind of... forgotten about his Degrassi past. He was even on a show called When I Was 17... where he made no mention of Degrassi, despite the fact, ya know, THAT'S WHAT HE WAS DOING AT 17. He wasn't even following any of the cast members on twitter, either. Lately, though, things have changed. He started following Lauren Collins, Stacey Farber, Ryan Cooley, Cassie Steele, Stephen Stohn, and Stefan Brogren on twitter. And then this picture
was posted on Stacey Farber's twitter account in late August. Oh, Aubrey...- Then in June 2018, the music video for Drake's I'm Upset video dropped, featuring a class reunion of tons of old Degrassi charactersnote Spinner, Paige, Ashley, Marco, Tori, Danny, Derek, Rick, Liberty, Toby, Ellie, Emma, Manny, Mia, Craig, Connor, Snake, Ms. Kwan. The fact that student not even in the Class of 2007 show up (or the dead Rick) should be ignored. partying and having fun together, garnering a hugely positive and nostalgic reaction from fans of the original series who missed seeing the cast together (or were amused by Rick getting pursued by Drake's outraged crew).
Johnny showing maturity and growth in "Hide and Seek". He tries his best to convince Alli to return home after running away by showing her the potential she has in university, and even admits to his girlfriend that a lot of Alli's problems began with him. Essentially he becomes the source of support for her that he never could be when they were together.
- Dallas accompanying Alli to get some closure when she confronts Leo before he is deported back to France.
