The epilogue, set in 1960. Several of the Bombshells retired and live lives of peace, with Kate Kane finally marrying Maggie Sawyer. The now grown up Bruce Wayne trains under Selina Digatti and becomes Batman, to honor Batwoman, the person who saved him and his parents all the way back in the first issue. Selina comments that Bruce is one of the only heroes who doesn't have a tragic backstory, instead becoming a hero of hope.
