     Episode 13: Lost & Found
  • Nott tells the rest of the Nein the truth of how she sees her relationship with Caleb. She sees the pair as a parent and child, except she is the mother and she must protect Caleb.
Nott: It's my job to protect him because I love him and I am his protector.
    • The rest of the cast look like they're about to break out into Tears of Joy during this whole speech, especially Liam (whose character isn't present to hear).
  • When Nott shows Caleb the spell scrolls she stole from the High Richter's place, Caleb reads one... and reacts with sheer joy and hugs her. We don't find out what spell it is, only that it's one he's been trying to learn for a long time. But his reaction says it all: it's the best gift she could've possibly given him.
  • The moment Caleb finally started to turn the opinions of those who considered him to be a selfish, unlikable grump when it comes to the rest of the Nein.
Caleb: (to Nott) Believe it or not, I like [the party], too. I don't agree with them, but I like them.
  • At the end of Caleb's solo segment Matt describes him waking up to find Nott, who had been sleeping across the room when Caleb fell asleep, is now cuddled up against his leg. As he says this Sam is returning to the room and stops to nuzzle against Liam's shoulder.
Nott: I got scared of the skeleton so I came over here.
  • The cast's utter delight when Matt reveals Pumat Sol is reading Tary's book. Between Sam and Laura hugging each other and Marisha practically leaping out of her seat it's sweet to see how excited they are at a nod back to the first campaign.

     Episode 14: Fleeting Memories
  • Sam's D&D Beyond promo for the week is turned into an elaborate ceremony dedicated to celebrating the return of Ashley (due to her show Blindspot being on hiatus), complete with putting a tiara on her, party decorations, balloons, poetry, an old Irish blessing and Taliesin singing!
  • The party is generally accepting of Molly when they discover his amnesia, but Caleb in particular tries to emphasize his support, telling Molly that he believes in second chances and making a point to use Molly's full name. Molly, in turn, seems quite touched, hiding a smile and sincerely thanking Caleb.
Mollymauk: This was... not how I expected this to go. Thank you.
    • Of note is the fact that Nott, up until this point, had been very suspicious of Molly, especially after the confrontation between them in Episode 11 (even wondering if he had something to do with the attack on Zadash), but she still tries to encourage him, and even says that she likes him a little more now. Beau also has a similar reaction, saying that she dislikes him a little less now.
    • There's also a sweet little moment after the Zone of Truth scene where Taliesin, after a fairly intense scene for him, briefly rests his head on Ashley's shoulder, who puts her arm around him for a quick cuddle. It's small, but very cute.
  • A Caleb-centered one is his awkward attempts to play matchmaker for Yasha and Beau, trying to encourage Yasha to buy shuriken for Beau and telling Beau that Yasha was the one who carried the shuriken for him. Both women are clueless about his efforts, but the fact that he tried is rather sweet.

Episode 15: Where The River Goes
  • The group's reactions to Jester being knocked out by the Gelatinous Cube reinforce just how much they all love her.
    • Once the cube is defeated Fjord rushes over to give her a healing potion with Travis specifically mentioning how he cradles her head to do so.
    • Later, before they try activating the puzzle again, Molly tells Jester to stay near the door and run if another enemy appears.
    • When Jester wonders if she should use one of her few spell slots to heal herself (not wanting to use another healing potion as it's 'a waste of money') Beau insists she do so, gently telling her to prioritise her own health.
  • Marisha confirmed on Talks Machina that Beau's Actually Pretty Funny moment towards one of Mollymauk's insults shows that she's starting to warm up to and feel more comfortable around the rest of the group. She also says that Beau is starting to like Molly more ever since he opened up in Episode 14, although she's not sure if the feeling's mutual.

Episode 16: A Favor In Kind
  • After having been one-shot by the gelatinous cube last episode, Jester starts this one pretty low on health, and is knocked unconscious during the fight with Siff. Travis has her covered though:
Travis: I got one more [health potion] with your name on it, sweet cheeks.
  • Under the influence of Siff's Whispers of Madness, Yasha goes to attack Beau, but Molly uses Blood Maledict to make her miss. While this move doesn't damage Yasha, it still says quite a lot that Molly is willing to put a curse on his best friend to protect the person he arguably likes the least out of the entire group.
  • Fjord admits to having cut his tusks as a child because they made him a prime target for bullying and isn't sure whether he should let them grow back, believing they represent some of the rougher aspects of his heritage. In the ensuing discussion, the Mighty Nein all try to be supportive in their own ways (hilariously, Yasha inquires if he ever killed one of the kids in retaliation). Jester very sweetly tells him that he's handsome now, and that he'd certainly still be handsome if he let the tusks grow back, a statement that Caleb seconds.
  • Caleb and Nott have a cute moment when the former thanks the latter for teaching him Message through the use of said spell, complete with Nott's usual catchphrase, "you can reply to this message". The two proceed to marvel at being capable of secretly having a conversation from separate ends of the room by casting Message in turn.
  • The Adorkable moment between Caleb and Jester studying the Beacon, and Nott playing "concerned but supportive parent" to the two of them.

     Episode 17: Harvest Close
  • Molly spends most of the carnival running back and forth between stands and games, trying to share in the fun of the other Nein. It is likely that either the festivities remind him of the circus, or possibly given that his memories only consist of the last two years that this is possibly the first real festival he's been to, and his reactions to it all are of very child-like excitement and enjoyment, even enjoying the parts that the other members declare a ripoff, such as his prize in Trebuchet being just a single strawberry. It's adorable to see him so happy.
  • When Nott reports back from a conversation she eavesdropped on and reveals that the Dwendalian Empire is about to declare war on Xhorhas, Caleb states that sticking together has become "more important than ever". Jester questions whether he means all of them, or just him and Nott. Caleb confirms that he did mean all of them, a clear indication that he has grown to care about the rest of the Nein.

     Episode 18: Whispers of War
  • Yasha giving Jester a hug for healing her after the giant smashes her. It's an awkward side-hug, but it's still a hug!
  • After Caleb reveals his backstory, Nott hugs him and tells him this.
Nott: It's not your fault. It's not your fault. And I'm going to keep telling you that until you believe me.
    • Also, the fact that Caleb finally trusted Nott with his torments. He was given a carrot from Beau that he couldn't resist, so he let her in on his hidden horrors, but he knew that it wouldn't be fair to not have Nott be among the first to know. Another part of this is that he chose to remain with the group and let Beau in on his dark past rather than keep it to himself and keep running - he's defrosting slowly but surely.
    • Beau, as awkward as she is, insists that Caleb isn't the one at fault for what happened and seems to trust him more now.
  • The Lawmaster's speech on why she does her job. She knows some members of the Empire are corrupt, she works to ensure that the public aren't stepped on by those who abuse their power. She knows utopia is impossible, but she does what she can to keep the people of her country safe.
  • After episodes worrying about whether her mother would send her a care package, Jester finally receives one. While it doesn't have the amount of money she hoped for, it still contained 200 gold, perfume, paints, and a letter of love.
    • Also heartwarming is the fact that Jester, obviously still thinking about the conversation she had with Caleb about money, does her best to stay positive and appreciate how much she did get, while the rest of the party comforts her and ultimately tells her to keep the 200 gold - which she was going to share - for herself.

     Episode 19: The Gentleman's Path
  • Caleb secretly casts Haste on Beau before her impromptu sparring match with Jester, a sign of how much he's come to trust her after the last episode.
  • After being KO'd by her in the ring, Jester bears no animosity towards Beau, hugging her while exclaiming how much fun she had. Beau is equally delighted, and apologizes for hurting Jester in the bout.
  • Though it's mostly Played for Laughs as Caleb is faking the dead, Jester's concern and fuss over the injured Caleb is very touching, with her prioritizing healing him over everything else.
  • A small friendship moment between Caleb and Yasha: when the party is questioning Yasha about her use of Necrotic Shroud (and the skeletal wings that come with it), Caleb speaks to her in Celestial, and Yasha says that it's nice to talk with someone who understands the language.
  • After Nott reveals her backstory to the party, they ask her if she wants to go back to the halfling village to find her friend. When she points out that she'd be stoned to death if she went back there (and that's without the possibility of running into her old tribe), the party assures her that they'd protect her, and Jester and Beau assure her that she's one of them.

Episode 21: Stalker in the Swamp
  • The story in the animated "DnD Beyond" intro. A beginning player is disorganized with her magic-using character, and opens her tablet to the cast pictured in their Season 2 opening. She taps on the "DnD Beyond" title card Sam's holding in the picture, and is pulled to an adventure with the Mighty Nein. Fjord reaches his hand out to the player, and she gets a Significant Wardrobe Shift as she's accepted before she faces gnolls and a beholder.
  • Jester and Beau spent the night in a cuddle pile with Kiri snuggled between them.
  • It's subtle, but Caleb holds a Magic Missile spell in case the troll attacks any of his friends. This may be one of the first times Caleb openly calls the rest of the Nein "friends".
  • Jester heals an unconscious Fjord by letting duplicity!Jester hug him and use Cure Wounds.
  • After the "Bowlgate" drama between Beau and Caleb, Marisha yells "I love you!" while hugging Liam to show there's no hard feelings and it's just friends acting.
  • Guest character Callianna is an incredibly sweet girl, going out of her way to compliment the party at every turn; because that's how she was treated as a kid and wants other people to feel special like she got to... even if it was because she was a cult's object of worship.

     Episode 22: Lost Treasures
  • Yasha shaves Caleb with her greatsword after he tells her that he misses shaving. She's described as being surprisingly dextrous and gentle, and Caleb seems very grateful.
    • Made even more heartwarming by the fact that this particular greatsword, Magician's Judge, was previously used to kill wizards, and is now being used to shave one instead.
  • Beau wonders whether she messed up with Caleb last time, and asks Fjord for advice on how to apologise. She follows through at the end of the episode, and Caleb awkwardly hugs her in response (whispering "I have no idea what I'm doing. Just play along."). Both IMMEDIATELY look to others for advice, Beau to Fjord and Caleb to Yasha, as neither has any clue what to do. Kiri sums up the moment with one of her learned phrases:
Kiri: Welcome to the Mighty Nein!
    • While Beau is asking Fjord's advice, Travis and Laura's baby starts kicking. Cue a tiny, precious moment of Sam feeling Laura's belly.
  • Due to her (understandable) fear of water, Nott decides to stay behind when the others enter the cavern in search of the rest of the merrow that attacked the group the night before. However, when Nott realizes the rest of the group might be in trouble, she drinks and works up the nerve to head inside and ends up saving Caleb's life after he's knocked unconscious and fails a death save. It goes to show how much she's grown to care about all of them, even if she might not always show it.

Episode 23: Have Bird, Will Travel
  • Thanks to her new Sending spell, Jester finally gets to speak to her mother. It's brief and is cut short by the word limit (the spell only allows 25 words), but Jester's mother is overwhelmingly happy to hear she's okay and that she got her package, and sends her love.
  • When Caleb re-kills the troll and gets lost in his memories again, Beau goes over to him and just brings him on a walk. Nott looks over out of concern, but sees that Beau is handling the situation, so she allows Beau to keep taking care of Caleb in an understated gesture of trust.
  • When leaving the Crossroads, the Nein run into the exact same group of bandits from Episode 8. Fortunately, the newly-appointed leader recognises them before serious damage can be done and apologises profusely, leading to Mollymauk giving him a set of armour as reward for respecting their prior arrangement (mostly), and the bandits get a lecture from the Nein suggesting that they really should just quit the criminal life while they're ahead and if they really must rob people to survive, to do it the right way.

Episode 24: The Hour of Honor
  • Beau confiding in Nott her past; considering they are two of the most wary and untrusting of the party, them reaching out and trusting each other is very sweet.
  • Jester asking Caleb to dance. Until Mood Whiplash sets in with Caleb's Wrong-Name Outburst. She then ensures he gets to bed safely, instead of passing out in a gutter, and they have another sweet (if half-drunk) moment.
  • Upon discovering that the ones who stole from them are children, the entire team's attitude changes and Beau even gives them 20 gold to help them survive. Then they all decide to do what they can - with what limited time they have considering they are on a job for the Gentleman and being late wouldn't be a good idea - to rescue their parents and thus let them get out of town. Fjord in particular is intent on leaving this place better than it was before, at the least for these kids.
  • Rissa's relationship with her dad, Clef. He's a bit embarrassing and has unintentionally made it hard for her to find stable employment, but he clearly loves his daughter and dotes on her. Beau is touched by their loving parent-child relationship and makes it a point to tell Rissa not to take it for granted.

     Episode 25: Divergent Paths
  • Travis and Laura are unable to make it, due to Laura giving birth earlier in the day. The two welcome in a new critter into the world, and the table is overjoyed at the news.
Matt: You'll notice we're down two players tonight. That's because apparently some babies can't wait.
    • Extra heartwarming given Matt's usual sign-off of "Is it Thursday yet?" It seems Ronin Willingham is a Critter who couldn't wait until after the session!
  • Liam/Caleb briefly breaks the fourth wall (but not character) to give Travis/Fjord some parenting advice.
  • The Shusters seem to notice Nott is a goblin... and after getting past their initial surprise, they don't seem to mind. Sam confirms on Talks Machina that this is the first time Nott helped someone and wasn't treated with contempt for being a goblin.
  • After the group finds a new home for Kiri, one of the Nein's members is unexpectedly moved.
Beau: I think that's the first nice thing I've ever done.
