Heartwarming / Call of the Wildman

Go To

Call of the Wildman may feature tons of action and funny moments, but it certainly has its share of moments that will tug at your heart strings as well.

  • One episode features Turtleman teaching "Turtle Mom" (his mother) how to catch snapping turtles. Said snapping turtles were ones that he had captured in the past and had to be relocated from their own pond to a new one. It goes to show how close they are since they are enjoying each other's company as much as they are catching turtles.
    • Even more heartwarming is that said turtles were named after members of his own family.
  • The fact that, even though he hates them, Turtleman is still willing to catch skunks and relocate them to someplace safe.
  • Heck, Turtleman's enthusiasm for going out and catching wild animals and relocating them to new homes is heartwarming in and of itself.
  • Sir Lancelot the rat snake. Turtleman treated him like part of the family rather than like a pest and even used him as a natural means of getting rid of mice.
    • When Sir Lancelot died, the Turtle Crew held a small funeral for him showing just how much the snake meant to them. Keep in mind that Sir Lancelot wasn't even a pet. He was a wild snake that just happened to live by Turtleman's home.
