  • Susan Boyle:
    • After her initial audition that blows everyone away, the judges apologize for their harshness. Not only does she get three yesses, but Susan goes on to get second place (and is gracious in her defeat).
    • Susan's return on AGT: The Champions deserves a mention as well. The moment she comes out on stage, everyone is out of their seats cheering for her. Simon, her biggest detractor turned biggest fan, is clearly overjoyed in particular. And then Susan gets Mel B's Golden Buzzer, bringing her to tears. Terry Crews, Mel, and Simon all come up to give her hugs.
  • A family band, the Neales, in the semi-final brought the judges, including Simon, to tears with a self-admitted slightly cheesy performance of Father and Son while a montage of their family photos played in the background.
  • Generally, any Golden Buzzer moment is this, combined with Moment of Awesome. Except for David Walliams' first two picks, where he chose zany (Lorraine Bowen) or just outright bad (Christian Spridon) acts to troll Simon.
  • On the subject of David's Golden Buzzer picks, his 2016 choice was a married couple named Ian and Anne Marshall, who sang a kitschy and cute cover of Crazy In Love as an ode to one another, having been married for 44 years. Even Simon couldn't disagree with David's choice.
  • Comic magician Matt Edwards looks like he's on the edge of happy tears when Simon tells him that he is brilliant. He then loses it when he gets the Golden Buzzer from Ant and Dec.
  • Adorable 10-year-old Calum Courtney rewriting Stevie Wonder's "Isn't She Lovely" to be about his mum.
  • Marc Spelmann after having the judges do a couple, tells them he learned true magic two years before: when his daughter Isabella was born, this after his wife suffered cancer and five years of in-vitro fertilization. Then it turns into a Moment of Awesome when he shows the judges and the audience several home videos that predict exactly what the judges would be doing. Then it goes back to Heartwarming when the judges (most importantly, Simon) tell him they are glad his family is OK now, and finally Ant and Dec push the Golden Buzzer themselves.
    • Spelmann gets another mention for spreading a heartwarming message of hope during his performances as "X" during Series 13.
  • In the season 15 final, rapper Flintz repeatedly choked during his opening verse. However, the judges remained full of praise for him after the performance, and even joined him on stage to hug him afterwards.
