• Anything tagged "brainbent group hug". It's the tag for people to get in- or out-of-character advice for their Real Life problems.
• When an anon tells Kanaya she's beautiful and Rose has to tell Kanaya they're talking about her. Even sweeter when Rose agrees.
• Karkat and Sollux affirming that they really are friends. It occurs in the aftermath of Sollux punching out Karkat for some tactless but good advice, and then freaking out about it until he needs to be restrained.
• Sollux is asked what he would do if he never met Aradia. This is his response:

  Karkat: CODEPENDENT MUCH?
• Someone asks if Casey will be incorporated into Brainbent somehow. This happens.
  John: This is my little sister, Casey. Say hi Case!
  Casey: Glub.
• Gamzee talking to Calliope. So sweet you may go into hyperglycemic shock.
  • Becomes even more heartwarming in hindsight with the revelation that Canon!Gamzee raised Canon!Calliope when she was a baby. And after that update, there were more and more moments in Brainbent that featured Gamzee and Calliope hanging out with each other. COINCIDENCE?
• At one point during a long online discussion, Sollux, Jade, Karkat and Nepeta argue over Karkat's deodorant, and Nepeta mentions that the scent burns. Karkat's response is to immediately go change and clean up, without anyone even suggesting it.
• Karkat comforting Gamzee when the latter goes into a Heroic BSoD following a fight with Sollux. He even lets Gamzee hug him.
• Tavros decided to work at St Lobaf because he wants to help other LGBT teens and hopefully prevent them from trying to kill themselves, since he did and he decided that he never wants anyone else to go through that.
• Another beautiful line from Tavros:
  i THINK EVERYONE WHO WANTS TO, dESERVES TO BE HAPPY, aND TO BE ALLOWED TO TALK ABOUT THEIR PROBLEMS IN A SAFE ENVIRONMENT, eVEN IF IT THEY FEEL LIKE ALL THEY DO IS COMPLAIN, oR THAT THEY ARE MAKING A BIG DEAL OUT OF NOTHING,
• A small one, but when Dave goes to meet Bro, Sollux drags himself out of hibernation to wave at him for good luck. A small gesture for anyone else but a monumental struggle for Sollux.
• Sollux giving Eridan some really good advice, telling him not to obsess over mistakes because by the time it's over and done with, he'll have one less thing to be ashamed of.
• This update reveals that Gamzee doesn't swear in front of Calliope.
  • Similarly, this update shows Vriska being genuinely nice to Calliope and sympathising with her.
    • Look at the tree. Carved into it is 'SC <3 AM', and there's two arrows through the heart (that, in a stroke of art genius, look like the arrows in front of the Homestuck commands, while the arrowheads on each side make the moirail sign). Awwwww.
• Dave telling Karkat that he thinks Karkat would make a great dad.
