  • Jon Favreau gifts Andrew the actual carving fork he used in the movie Chef (2014).
    • Another for Favreau in The Mandalorian episode where he personally requests Andrew come up with a simpler version of the macarons as he knows they are expensive and hard to make, and he'd like a recipe that little kids (who want to eat the Baby Yoda Cookies) could help make with their parents; he also praises Andrew for encouraging people to learn how to cook.
  • In the episode in which he cooks ratatouille, there's a clip shown of him as a little boy, playing with fake food and pretending to be a chef. It's adorable.note
  • The whole "Being With Babish" subseries is basically just Andrew using money he makes from his show to improve the lives of fans, friends, and people in need.
    • In the inaugural episode of his travel/vlog series "Being with Babish", Andrew surprises long-time fan David Wasman, who had sent him the sample of authentic McDonalds Szechuan Sauce he used in the episode, with a few gifts to help him out of the difficult time he had been having. On top of that, Andrew also reveals that David sending him the sauce helped motivate him out of a funk he had been in himself after having separated from his partner, which was so bad he almost considered ending the series. It's one of the most heartwarming 15 minutes on all of YouTube.
  • The $5 milkshake episode ends with Andrew sticking a second straw in the shake, and introducing his new girlfriend Jess to share the shake with.
  • The Banoffee Pie episode has Andrew bring in Jess to try the pie since he's allergic to bananas. She doesn't like bananas herself, but Andrew responds with written cards a la Mark from the film, saying "I know this is our first Christmas together, but I never want to spend another one without you." It makes Jess audibly tear up, and they kiss.
  • The Pizza Poppa episode features Andrew cooking with someone from Make-A-Wish that requested to meet him.
  • In the 8 Million Subscriber Special, Andrew introduces the, "newest, newest addition to the BCU," which turns out to be a super cute kitten named Buckwheat! He explains that they found her outside, shivering and hungry, and when her mother didn't return, they set up a little kitty apartment for her in their shower.
