Heartwarming / Bad Words

• When Guy sees that Chaitanya's father would be disappointed in him if he lost the spelling bee, Guy figures his plan had had been accomplished. So he throws the spelling bee, letting the kid win it, deliberately invoking Loophole Abuse to prevent Chaitanya from throwing it for him.
  • That, and Chaitanya attempting to throw the spelling bee to let Guy win, just so the kid could win his only friend back.
• Dr. Bowman rips up a note that Guy hands to him near the end of the movie, into many pieces at that. Right before Guy tells him that Bowman is his father. In the following shot, Bowman went to a lot of trouble piecing that note back together so he'd be able to read it.
