• All of Jimmy's Missile Barrage upgrades are children's story books. The flavour text on Micey the Mech Pilot however, is just about the most adorable thing.
  The book has a written message on the first page: "To my beloved children, Jimmy and Amy. May you become the best robo fighters in the galaxy, love dad."
• Ayla's long lost grandpa, Yoolip, returns after years of being lost in time and all he wants is to spend time with his beloved granddaughter. After the death of her parents, Yoolip is the only family Ayla has left.
• The way Raelynn and Chucho treat their pulserifle and hyper bike respectively. They're both emotionless soldiers typically, but seem to honestly and genuinely care about their weapons. In Chucho's case, it's played like he's madly in love, right down to him dramatically calling Ramona's name as a death quote. Some of the related dialogue is just adorable.
