Natasha and Mara; mother and daughter, brought together from across two galaxies
  • HK-47, despite being a rough assassin, shows a bit of sadness that master Revan has died since his deactivation.
    • On that note, he slides easily into the Guardians of the Galaxy as another key member.
  • Matt reunites with Peter after their brief time apart.
  • The omake where Padme helps arrange a Christmas party for the Avengers as thanks for everything the heroes have done since arriving in this galaxy, letting them share a bit of their home cultures with their new friends and allies.
  • Despite being miles away and definitely not a long-term thing, Pietro decides to give dating a senator a try. And both seem to enjoy themselves immensely.
  • With their own misgivings over the Jedi's recruitment policies, the Avengers take up raising the infants Mara Jade and Grogu for now. As the storyline continues, all characters basically come to accept the idea that Mara is now Natasha's daughter; the Vision himself observes that Mara even looks somewhat like Natasha, in his own way supporting the idea that she and Natasha were "meant" to become a family.
  • Obi-Wan begins helping Peter master his Spider-Sense, becoming a pseudo-master to the boy.
  • When Peter Parker is pinned under the rubble of a building, he flashes back to his last conversation with Uncle Ben, where the latter gave his nephew the words he forever lives by. This vision, along with the desire to save his friends, allows him to find the strength to lift the weight off him, to the amazement of Anakin, Steve, and Obi-Wan.
  • Aayla telling Steve that it isn't his fault that Ultron is back and now is attacking Coruscant.
  • Anakin’s mental state seems to be steadily improving due to the Avengers' presence. He can laugh, trade friendly ribbings and even confide a little with his newfound friends.
  • Aayla being at Steve Rogers’s bedside, during his recovery, after he was rescued in chapter 50.
  • Clint actually tells Hector Ayala, the White Tiger, about his and Scott's own families. The idea he'd be working with people who understand the struggle of being both a father and a superhero is a big reason the latter considers joining the team.
  • When Tony goes to recruit Luke Cage and Danny Rand and the latter's parents come up in conversation, Tony sincerely offers his condolences and sympathy to the Defender.
  • Clint comes to Shuri's defense when Okoye thinks the princess is simply fooling around while she's with the Avengers.
    • In general Clint’s fatherly side comes out more around Shuri, just before his talk with Okoye he told her he made a pasta dish she liked, and later he's giving her cooking lessons.
     The Strange Travelers Arc
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/infinite_wars__bucky_barnes_and_celeste_morne__by_freemanwriter_dgndn28_fullview.png
Celeste and Bucky
  • Bucky and Celeste spend Christmas and New Year's Eve together, while in Germany and Denmark.
  • Bucky and Celeste begin a relationship together. Two old souls, healing together and supporting one another.
  • Heartwarming in Hindsight: Stephen Strange remembers Bucky Barnes as Steve Rogers’ childhood friend and former Howling Commando, not as the Winter Soldier.
  • When Strange and Celeste confront Kaecilius, Kaecilius talking about how the people he killed are "tiny" compared to his grand goal leaves Celeste so outraged by his words that she threatens to stab him with her lightsaber if he says one more word on that topic. This proves that Celeste is Going Native and now considers her new home planet and people worth protecting.
  • Celeste Morne acts as Shipper on Deck for Stephen Strange and Christine Palmer by asking Stephen to consider rebuilding their former relationship.
    • Stephen Strange DID briefly considered rebuilding his relationship with Christine by comparing their previous time to Bucky x Celeste relation.
  • Thanks to Mordo and Celeste joining Strange in following her astral form on its final "trip", Tao gets to give parting advice and apologies to her three best students, wishing them well together, and apologizing for not being the best or the longest mentor for them all. The Ancient One's final goodbye to Strange, Celeste, and Mordo as she is about to die includes the revelation that she joined the Order during the Black Death after it claimed her family. While her words help Mordo find a willingness to compromise that he lacked in canon and Celeste and Strange are clearly grateful for their time with her, all parties express regret that they had so little time to be her students, Celeste in particular thanks the Ancient One for giving her and Bucky a new home and purpose on this unfamiliar world. The Ancient One’s last request is giving her regards to Bucky and Wong on the One Ring.
  • Despite being villains, even Killmonger gets Zemo's grief in hearing how his family was collateral damage during the Avengers' battle against Ultron.
     The Lost Travelers Arc
  • T'Challa’s time on Kasshyk is shown in detail, and given his own tribal origins, he turns into an honored guest for Chief Tarful and his tribe.
    • One point of connection they immediately have is that they both take vows very seriously.
      • T'Challa considers bringing some of his new friends to Earth to help reintegrate the Jabari into the rest of Wakanda.
  • Chapter 61: Dani proclaimed herself to be Sam’s girlfriend and Sam Wilson, in return, glady accepts. They got unofficial approval and support by rest of Avengers. Especially, when Sam and Dani are both therapists for veteran soldiers / war refugees.
  • Vision's focus chapter has him striking a true friendship with the Bendu, learning how to engage with the Mind Stone in new ways.
    • Then when joining with the Protectors, he makes sure to send the Bendu a goodbye message.
  • Wanda ends up on Dathomir, which on the surface is a planet completely unsuitable for an Avenger, but which soon proves to be the perfect planet for her to grow as the Scarlet Witch. Amid all the dangers she faces on that world, her compassion and concern for children helps to keep her grounded, and though it's mixed with Tear Jerker also leads to her essentially adopting a pair of young Night Sisters after they lose their mothers.
    • Also, she reaches out to Ros Lai without even knowing about her secret disguise.
     Battle of Kamino Arc
  • Domino Squad reunites with 99, and Hevy gets his medal back.
    • They also meet Omega, who helps 99 out whenever she can.
    • 99 gets his own moment when Steve assures the weakened clone that he can still be a good man even if he can't fight in the war, comparing 99 to his pre-serum self.
     Pursuit of Peace Arc
  • While Cham is pushing for more non-Clone soldiers in the GAR, he has nothing but the highest respect for the clones themselves, declaring them to be the finest fighting force in the history of the galaxy and that he was honoured to fight alongside them. The troopers in the Senate Building that hear his praise are filled with pride.
  • A few after the Avengers inform their senator (Padme, Bail, Riyo, Mon) and Jedi (Anakin, Obi-Wan, Ahsoka, Barris and Aayla) allies about the Clones’ control chips.
    • Padme goes around checking on the Jedi, starting with Anakin and ending with her pulling Ahsoka and Barriss a hug.
    • When Obi-Wan asks why the Avengers told these specific Jedi, the Terrans reply because they trust them, and everyone in the room is clearly touched.
    • After the meeting, Rex notices Anakin acting strangely, unaware his general has just been informed about the control chips implanted in the Clone army. Anakin can’t tell him, so instead asks Rex to trust him while calling him a good soldier, a good man and a good friend.
    • Anakin is understandably angry about the reveal because of his past as a slave, which he shares with the group, hurt at the idea that he's essentially become a slave-owner himself and can’t stand the thought of his men secretly going through the same thing. Secura assures him no one is happy about it, and she can’t stand the idea of her own troopers being used as slaves.
    • Barriss asks to tell her master about this, not liking the idea of keeping such a thing from her. Rhodey promises to break the truth with her when she feels she's ready.
     Madalorian Summit Arc
  • Peter Quill meets someone from Earth for the first time in decades, and even though Vision isn't obviously human, he immediately answers Quill's questions about their shared home world, and even tells Quill about new films such as The Lord of the Rings series to give him something to look forward to if he ever returns (as opposed to Peter Parker’s dismissal of Footloose when he met Quill in canon).
  • With their good work as business partners, Grief Karga and Peli help to set up a new base for Guardians and Protectors alike on Glavis.
  • During Bo-Katan's time stuck in a hospital, she's befriended by an Ithorian, who gives mercy and advice to her. That she will flow into who she was meant to be, and that it will be something great in time.
    • On a different note, despite being on the wrong side, the Night Owls are thrilled when they realize Bo's returned.
  • Chapter 61: Avengers being supportive of Sam Wilson’s relationship with Zeltron woman Dani.
  • Chapter 68 sees the Vision rejoin the Avengers and Bo-Katan, Satine and Spar agreeing to reunite the Mandalorians under one banner to oppose the threat of Ultron.
     Final Reunions Arc
  • Chapter 69;
    • Natasha openly states that Mara is "hers", and Grogu swiftly becomes just as attached to Vision as he is to the other Avengers.
    • Wanda forms a tentative truce with Asajj for the sake of Merrin and Ilyana, her unofficial "children" (particularly since Ilyana is Asajj's cousin).
    • Dooku telling Ventress about his apprentices before her, and how he misses Qui-Gon.
  • Chapter 71
    • Barriss Offee & Ahsoka Tano, and secretly Grandmaster Yoda being impressed by Peter Parker’s speech about Power and Responsibility.
    • Pietro and Wanda reunite on Dathomir.
    • When Obi-Wan, Anakin, Matt and Pietro meet Wanda and learn about her guardianship of Merrin and Ilyana, even Anakin has no problem with the notion of the girls accompanying them off Dathomir.
     Mortis Arc
  • Chapter 72:
    • The simple fact that Wanda has reached Coruscant. All of the Avengers that were scattered across the galaxy have finally reunited.
      • The other Avengers also enjoy the chance to meet Wanda's charges, the rest of the team swiftly accepting the girls into their expanding group dynamic and Wanda in turn trusting the other Avengers as further guardians, such as Scott taking them shopping given his own experience as a father. With Natasha and Wanda both mothers now, Hope jokingly wonders if she should look for a child herself to round out the "set".
    • Qui-Gon's spirit reassures Obi-Wan during his self-doubt that he fully trusts him with raising Anakin and how he's even taken up a new informal apprentice with Peter.
      Qui-Gon: I have faith in you, Obi-Wan.
    • Speaking of reassuring, Peter and Vision proceed to comfort Anakin when he breaks down after seeing his mother. The former tells him what happened to his Uncle Ben and reasons that both Ben and Shmi wouldn't want their guilt to consume them. Vision, not to be left out, admits that he cannot relate to Anakin in the same way Peter can, but delivers his poignant line he gave Wanda in canon: "What is grief if not love persevering?"
    • T’Challa has a dream vision and encounters the spirit of a man he quickly recognises as N’Jobu. T’Challa’s reaction to seeing his long dead uncle whom he probably hasn't seen since he was very young? Pull the man into a hug. N’Jobu, while surprised at the embrace, shows no bitterness towards his nephew and guides him to meet their patron goddess Bast who informs her avatar of the events involving his family and country on Earth and assuring him that while Shuri is acting as a fine substitute and that he is still her chosen warrior.
    • The Father being glad that his old friend the Bendu still lives and recognising Vision as his apprentice.
  • Chapter 74:
    • Demonstrating how Thor has grown beyond his old arrogance, even when he has no knowledge of Spider-Man, all he needs to know is that other Avengers have welcomed the wall-crawler to their ranks and Thor greets him as a valued comrade and member of Earth's Mightiest Heroes.
    • While T'Challa is upset to learn of the circumstances behind his uncle's death, he accepts the appeal to find his cousin when he gets back to Earth. N'Jobu in turn is able to acknowledge that he made mistakes in his actions even if he still feels that Wakanda should do more for the world, T'Challa vowing to find a balance between his father's desire to protect Wakanda and his uncle's dream of helping others that doesn't lead to violence.
    • Anakin returns to Tatooine to visit the Lars family and apologise for not spending more time with them after Shmi's death, admitting that he is glad his mother was happy for her last decade of life. During his time there, he also tells Ahsoka about his marriage to Padme, and Peter and Ahsoka take the first steps in their own relationship (while also planning to bring Barriss in as soon as possible).
      • On top of the above, there is also Anakin's reasons for this visit to take into account; after the Son appears to Anakin as a twisted version of Shmi, the Avengers advise Anakin to remind himself of what his mother was really like, so he won't let that experience taint his memory of her. Not only is this a genuinely kind thing to do, but it also reinforces how the Avengers are helping Anakin avoid the corruption of the Dark Side by nothing more than being there for their friend and ally.
     Citadel Arc
  • Chapter 76:
    • Steve and Hunter talk about the namesake of the latter's Unit, 99. Hunter talks about how the older clone encouraged the Bad Batch during their training and even maintains their quarters on Kamino for them while they're on missions, clearly appreciating the support.
      Steve: He's a good man.
      Hunter: He's a good brother.
  • While the Citadel battle itself was emotionally devastating, the aftermath offers the heroes some good moments, as Natasha seeks out Mara Jade for comfort and the infant instinctively understands what her mother needs, followed by the joy as another Avenger joins the displaced heroes as Thor warmly greets his old and new comrades.
  • In the Omake depicting the various heroes of the Star Wars galaxy watching the Lord of the Rings films, all characters are profoundly affected by Sam's speech at the end of The Two Towers, with even Yoda observing the wisdom of Sam's words about the need to keep fighting out of the belief in good even when it seems hopeless.
     Shang-Chi Arc
  • Chapter 78:
    • Bucky and Celeste enjoying their morning in Celeste's London Sanctum.
    • Mixed with Tear Jerker, Bucky being at Peggy Carter’s funeral in Saint Luke's Cathedral in London, in absent Steve’s stead, paying his respects.
      • Celeste making company and comfort to Bucky during funeral.
  • Chapter 79 has a few:
    • Thor brings messages The Avengers sent into space both updating their teammates on their status and Ultron's return, but also to inform their loved ones they're okay.
      • For her part, Celeste is pleasantly surprised to hear that the Avengers are in HER galaxy, and that Galactic Republic and The Jedi Order still stand.
      • As part of the holographic messages, Clint not only receives one from the Maximoff twins as the closest thing they have to family back on Earth, but also gets a message from Natasha. When Mara appears in the message, Clint ends up seeing what is apparently the first time that Mara calls Natasha "Mama". The other Coruscant-based Avengers present share Natasha and Clint's joy at this moment, and even Tony is suitably touched (after the required Stark snark).
      • T'Challa’s message assures Shuri he's alright but also includes some teasing about how knowing she was a traditionalist at heart. This earns his hologram a playful flip of the bird, but it's clear Shuri has missed their banter.
      • Being still in his better times, Thor and Jane are happily reunited as he brings in her team to work on the infinity gate.
      • Selvig created a Twitter account just so he could publicly congratulate Darcey for getting her PHD.
      • Hank has been checking in on Cassie informing the young girl on any updates he can about the search for Scott and Hope. He does this not just out of obligation but also because he legitimately enjoys spending time with her partially because she reminds him of Hope as a child and he won't allow her to lose Scott like his family lost Janet.
      • Hank briefly runs into "Shaun" and Katy and has a quick but friendly conversation with them.
  • Chapter 82:
    • Tony sympathizing with the Xu siblings' "daddy issues."
    • Quite a few after the team arrives in Ta Lo:
      • Tony catches up with Trevor Slatterly, who has being teaching Shakespeare to the villagers, and a Dijiang takes a liking to him thanks to their armor and wings matching. Tony names him Balthazar and declares he's taking him home when they're done to the creature's delight.
      • Jen and Hector spend their time playing and wrestling with the shishi, with the latter giving a full grown one a belly rub and Hector thinking about taking one home knowing Ava would love it.
      • The people of Ta Lo refer to K'un Lun as their "cousin village" and they and Danny quickly begin teaching their respective fighting styles to each other.
      • Robbie keeps to himself enjoying the calming affect Ta Lo has on Zarathos but quickly finds himself in the company of a flock of phoenixes and húlijīng.
      • Strange and Mordo, after noting the usefulness of dragon scales and that several inhabitants of Ta Lo possess mystical potential, offer to start an exchange program between the village and their order.
      • It also helps that Celeste Morne sensed the presence of the Force in Ta Lo, something that its residents had never heard or experienced anything like this, the Jedi Shadows' experience of the Force giving them new insight on their homeland that they never actually considered
      • Clint and Ta Lo's archery teachers quickly take a liking to each other as both masters of the craft and guides to the less experienced, including Katy whom he later helps pick out an outfit for with a purple arm band.
    • A dying Wenwu realizing his mistakes and apologizes to his children, dividing his rings between them. Then the spirit of Ying Li appears, greets her children and pulls his spirit from his body finally reuniting them and they depart together.
    • After the battle Shang-Chi and Xialing sombrely gaze upon the remains of their mother's home village, Tony tells them to focus on the fact there are still people to save thanks to their actions.
  • Chapter 83:
    • Xu Wenwu's children light a lantern for him after the battle with the Dweller-in-Darkness, expressing hope that he has been reunited with their late mother in the afterlife. With the Avengers (including Celeste Morne) saying their own prayers for the deceased.
    • Shang-Chi and Katy, much to their surprise and jubilation, become members of Earth-based Avengers team, completely with Avengers ID.
    • Celeste Morne successfully cleans Bucky Barnes from his HYDRA brainwashing program. Bucky's Tears of Joy AFTER speak volume. Complete with Smooch of Victory and Victory Sex. Also Moment of Awesome.
      • —->Strange only chuckled, shaking his head with a small smile.
"Given what he went through, he deserved it."
      • Bucky having trust in Celeste to do un-brainwashing spell.
      • Wong watching over Bucky during un-brainwashing spell process and Dr Strange supporting Bucky x Celeste.
     A Time of Rest Arc
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/spider_man_ahsoka_and_barriss.jpg
Peter, Ahsoka and Barriss come together
  • Chapter 84:
    • The Coruscant Guard unit Spidey regularly teams up with have painted webs on their transports doors.
    • Reflecting how the Avengers offer more than just new powers on the battlefield, Sam Wilson sets up therapy sessions so people can talk about their feelings regarding the traumatic events of the Citadel, even offering to talk with Anakin about his reaction to learning about the chips.
    • On a more personal scale, Peter and Ahsoka do their best to be there for Barriss after her own experiences, offering her comfort and support but all acknowledging that they shouldn't take things further just yet.
    • Related to the above, Luminara Unduli comes to the therapy meeting to support Barriss, stating that while she may have the responsibilities of a council member, her Padawan's well-being is still her first priority.
  • Chapter 85 is practically full of them;
    • Anakin and Ahsoka talking about the events on Mortis, namely her death and revival.. Anakin assures his Padawan that he will help her work through anything that's bothering her after her resurrection and then allows her to leave training early to spend time with Peter and Barris but not before the two exchange some sibling banter.
    • This exchange between the two.
Ahsoka: "I won't let you down, Master."
Anakin: "You've yet to do so and I know you never will."
    • Anakin also mentions that the Clones of the 501st have noticed something's bothering their commander and are concerned about her. Not long after Anakin has a PTSD episode from his fight with Vader, Echo shows visible concern for his general.
    • The lost Avengers have received a supply of Vibranium at T'Challa’s request, but Shuri states that she would have sent it whether he did or not as she's an Avenger herself and she has to support her teammates. Then Clint adds that it's also a repayment for a stove she brunt down.
    • T'Challa gifts his Wookiee allies with Kimoyo Beads, while declaring them his clan and, as they swore allegiance to him, that they deserve the benefits of Wakanda. After that he's pulled into a group hug by the Wookiees.
    • Matt opens up a little to T'Challa about his past with Elektra. He doesn't go into much just the basics but it says a lot about how much he trusts the Wakandan prince.
    • Wanda and Vision playfully taking with each other, foreshadowing their official relationship , while watching Pietro train with the lightsaber of his fallen friend.
    • Hope brings up the idea of wanting a child with Scott one day and both promise that should the day come, they would support one another in their "partnership".
    • Vos, T'ra and Tholme advise Aayla through her conflict over her feelings for Steve with more then a hint of parental teasing from all three, culminating in Aayla kissing Steve and Steve acknowledging his own feelings for Aayla while still able to acknowledge Peggy's memory.
"Attachments do not lead to the Dark Side. Fear of losing them does."
      Tholme
"What matters is to make the most of what you have now and cherish it." Quinlan tackled on. "You can't let yourself be pigeonholed by fears and hesitations. That's not the Aayla we know and raised."
    • Peter gives Barriss a pleasant night out after the trauma of the Citadel, touring some of his favourite spots on Coruscant and a few more areas he's been recommended by others, culminating in him kissing Barriss before inviting Ahsoka along. The three teens all admit that they don't know how their triad dynamic will work out long-term, but agree that being together feels right; Barriss in particular thinks to herself that Peter and Ahsoka have been her anchors through difficult experiences and the truest source of peace she's experienced since those dark days.
      • On a meta note, with Ahsoka and Barriss being more or less MJ and Gwen Stacy respectivly in this story, Peter essentially gets to be together with both of his most famous girlfriends at once, giving the infamous Parker Luck one hell of a middle finger.
     To be Guardians Arc
  • Chapter 86
    • Fenn supporting Mantis in opening up and believing that Peter Quill will readily accept her as his sister.
    • The apparent trust Drax and Mantis have for each other, insinuated by Fenn as he referenced the musclehead to also be aware of her relation to Quill.
    • Fenn and Boba teaching a young Din Djarin how to shoot a blaster.
    • Drax interacting with the Mandalorian foundlings, even telling them about the meanings of his tattoos, which have a deeply personal meaning for him.
  • Chapter 87: When Asajj Ventress trains with the spirit of Darth Vectivus, he helps her communicate with the spirit of her mother, who assures Asajj that even after sending her away she never stopped loving and missing her daughter, and is proud of how she has grown in strength.
  • Chapter 88: After feeling the celestial power coming from both Asajj and a hint from Mantis, Peter is more than happy to pull his two half-sisters into a group hug.
Quill: This is one of the best days of my life!
     Onderon Crisis Arc
  • Chapter 89:
    • After being rescued by Peter and the Symbiote, the altered Nelvaanian warriors return to their village to being received with weariness and fear… until a child calls his father and runs to hug him, prompting the other villagers to welcome their loved ones with more warmth than before.
    • While Pietro is taken aback when Riyo asks him where their relationship is going, once she explains that this question was motivated by a pregnancy "scare", the speedster assures her that he'd love to form a family with her.
    • Where most interpretations of the symbiote are presented as "jealous" of its hosts having other relationships, here the symbiote temporarily bonds with Ahsoka and Barriss and seems to express approval of them as Peter's "mates".
    • Lux's whole reasoning for joining the rebels on Onderon isn't just because it's his home planet but also because he was inspired by Peter and the Avengers to stand up to help others.
  • In Chapter 92, when some of the Clone Troopers find Peter and Barriss coming out of Ahsoka's room one morning, while some express concern about whether Peter's two-timing one girl or the other, in general the troopers all express approval of Peter being involved with at least one of them.
     Padawan Lost

Steve and Aayla admit their love
  • Chapter 93:
    • Upon seeing Anakin ready to lash at Peter about Ahsoka's kidnapping, the Avengers do everything in their power to cool the Chosen One's anger and protect their youngest member - and they are successful.
      • Even after Anakin is calmer, part of the team still keeps some eyes over them, ready to intervene if necessary.
    • Barriss cooing and calming the distraught Symbiote after Ahsoka disappears; in a sense, it's almost like a mother caring for her saddened child.
    • Ahsoka and Kass Tod bond over their respective discoveries of love - especially considering that they were raised with the Jedi, who forbids attachments.
  • Chapter 94:
    • The chapter opens with Rex being pulled into a date by Deliah Blue and the pair begin to know one another more intimately. The date ends on Blue placing a kiss on the Clone Captain's Cheek, thanking him for accepting her into the 501st and promising that she'll make him proud.
    • Steve notes that Aayla's lekku are twirling around each other at the back of her head, which Aayla admits is a sign of love among her species, affirming out loud that she loves Steve despite her emotionally limited background.
    • Matt and Bo reunite. While still highly frustrated by his lawyer antics around her, Bo can say one good thing about Matt's incessant questioning. After the summit, Bo-Katan can definitely say who she is outside of her organizations.
      • Matt even recognizes the Elektra-style courtships going on between them, but nonetheless, asks for a date with her.
  • Chapter 95: Once Ahsoka and the other lost Padawans have been rescued, Ahsoka in particular is joyfully reunited with those close to her, hugging Anakin and Rex in public and exchanging a more affectionate private reunion with Peter and Barriss later. Even the symbiote emerges to nuzzle Ahsoka and express gratitude that she's returned.
Journey to Tython & Avengers Reunion
  • In a strange way, Asajj's decision to join Peter Quill in destroying an aspect of Ego they discovered. While she doesn't understand her brother's willingness to give up the powers he received from Ego, she shares his disdain for the father that was, in different ways, responsible for them both growing up without their mothers.
    • HK-47 supporting, in his OWN way, Star-Lord in quest of destroying Ego's essence:
"Encouragement: Oh Master, I knew there was a reason I liked you so much. I knew the dark side dwelled deep within you and with it, the needed desire to kill meatbags."
  • When Anakin's expeditionary force find Tython, the first planet of the Jedi, Anakin takes a moment to praise Ahsoka for her role in this discovery and affirm his certainty that she and Barriss will become some of the greatest Jedi in the Order.
  • Though it is also amusing, after their "date" with one another, Deliah Blue is displaying more open affection with Captain Rex, indicating she is far more interested in him now rather than playful flirtations.
  • When Quinlan Vos discovers Wanda with her Sith holocrons, he makes it clear that he trusts that an Avenger will not be corrupted by the Dark Side as his own experience shows him that love and support can bring people back from the edge. In return, Wanda informs Vos of Steve’s and Aayla’s Relationship Upgrade, of which later is glad.
  • While exploring Tython, where in canon Ahsoka sometimes wondered if she was capable of being a Jedi in times of peace after serving as a commander in war, here she is shown actively considering the idea of making a home somewhere peaceful with Peter and Barriss, reaffirming how much of an impact their love has had on the triad.
  • Although Anakin is obviously shaken when he realizes the true identity of Darth Vader, a few key allies in the Avengers and even some of his fellow Jedi (Obi-Wan, Ahsoka, Barriss and Aayla) all immediately reject the idea that Anakin could become Vader, affirming their faith in Anakin as a good man.
  • After over a year separated, Iron Man and Hawkeye FINALLY reunite with the missing twelve Avengers.
  • Chapter 99 is chock-full of them.
    • Peter reunites with Aunt May and he introduces her to Ahsoka and Barriss
    • Shuri and T'Challa reunite with a loving sibling hug.
    • Matt, Scott and Hope briefly return to Earth. Cassie and Hank are waiting for Scott and Hope on the other side of the gate, whilst Matt goes straight back to the office for Foggy Nelson and Karen Page .
    • Though it is a heartwrenching moment for Steve in discovering the death of Peggy Carter, he finds Aayla and after confiding in her the loss, he reinforces his love for her which she reciprocates.
    • At the start, Clint conveys pride at the Maximoff twins in stepping up to safeguard not a single world but an entire galaxy. They, along with Natasha later introduce him to the kids under their care with Clint greeting them as their Uncle.
    • While their meeting is hilarious, it's also heartwarming for Shang-Chi and Katy to be greeted by the space Avengers with respect and appreciation for their contributions in uniting the two teams.
    • Though she is deeply shattered by what she has learned of her being 4000 years into the future , Bucky Barnes is there to comfort Celeste, being her anchor in this trying time.
Celeste: "Please don't ever leave me, Bucky."
Bucky: "I don't ever plan on it."
    • Steve Rogers meeting Celeste Morne, having sympathy for her plight and being supportive for Bucky & Celeste.
    • Celeste Morne feeling empathy for Steve Rogers' loss of Peggy Carter.
    • Aayla comforting Steve over Peggy’s death. Steve, in return, telling her that he moved on, way before, and is willing to have relationship with her.
    • Drawing from his personal experiences and what he saw between Bastilla and Revan, Jolee of the distant past talks about how love, passion, the light and the dark side are interlinked, and how the Jedi need to not shut away potential for evil, but continue to find the balance needed to truly hold back the Dark Side.
      • In round two of Vader vs Anakin, when Anakin is down on one knee after feeling the effects of the fight, he thinks back to what Jolee said. "Love can save you, not condemn you". It is from there that Anakin takes a moment and reflects on all the people he had grown to care for and love. It starts with his mother followed by Padme and Ahsoka, then Obi-Wan and Qui-gon, Rex and the 501st, and the thirteen Avengers in space whom he had befriended and helped him inadvertently be guided away from falling to the Dark Side. All of them appear in his mind to help him gather the strength needed to beat Darth Vader down.
    • Anakin's rematch with Darth Vader might be a Moment of Awesome even if he didn't have various other characters backing him up, but it's the reason they're present that is truly heartwarming: Even faced with a future version of Anakin who did fall to the Dark Side, all of those present deny that the Anakin Skywalker they know could become the man they see before them.
     Spider-Verse
  • Chapter 100
    • Reflecting the character growth she has experienced since forming her relationship with Peter and Ahsoka, Barriss not only reveals that she intends to forge a new lightsaber, but even gives her original weapon to Ahsoka and makes it clear that she considers this a proposal, declaring that she wishes to dedicate her life and love to Peter and Ahsoka even above her old bond with the Jedi Order.
    • Celeste Morne approves and is glad to read about Zayne Carrick's accomplishments- surviving the Mandalorian Wars, the Jedi Civil War, the Sith Triumvirate and even helping to rebuild the Order- as well as his happy life with Jarael .
    • Anakin Skywalker opening up to Obi-Wan Kenobi about his secret marriage with Padmé and plans for the future, with Obi-Wan showing full support of his old apprentice even when Anakin expresses the idea that he may have to leave the Order.
    • Although he knows this to be a potentially hypocritical promise, Peter promises his Aunt May that at the end of the day, after every battle, he would always find a way home to her and to his friends and loved ones to assuage her fears.
    • Small in its way, but when Jedi Knight Peter Park'r arrives in the prime universe, when others wonder if he is the kind of threat that the Sorcerers deal with, Strange immediately states that if this Peter is anything like the one they know, he can't be the cause of the problem but is just a symptom of it.
  • Chapter 101
    • J. Jonah Jameson of all people gives a speech at the funeral for his universe's Peter Parker, publicly admitting that he was wrong about Spider-Man, and that his smear campaign over the years was motivated by him projecting onto the wall-crawler who really was as noble as he appeared. He apologies publicly and promises that he and the Daily Bugle will do everything they can to ensure that Peter is immortalized as a hero not just by the city of New York but by the entire world.
    • Both Peter and Park'r are suitably impressed by the SP//dr mech.
    • While Peter B. Parker still isn't doing the best mentoring of Miles, IW!Peter is doing his best to impart some knowledge for the fledgling spider. Such as to stop holding yourself to such high expectations, and giving him a crash course in web slinging as they escape Alchemax.
    • Despite the depressing way Peter B. life has gone before the arc, it's kind of heartwarming that whenever he references other heroes from his universe he uses their first names rather than their made-up ones, showing that he's on good terms with them — even Deadpool!
  • Chapter 102
    • In Park'r's universe, Dooku never fell to the Dark Side and was one of his initial mentors before he became a Padawan, even then they remained close to the point Peter refers to him a "Uncle Dooku" and is shocked that he could become a Sith in any reality.
  • Chapter 103
    • As the Spiders prepare to return to their worlds, they all affirm that they are glad to have worked with each other and would be very glad to see each other again, Spider-Ham giving them all spare hammers while IW!Peter and Peter B. express pride and faith in Miles' ability to be the new Spider-Man of this world.
    • Unlike the movie, here Jefferson Davis discovers about Miles' secret identity as Spider-Man - and he shows all his support and love for his son, even if he's deeply scared about the dangers Miles will face as Earth-1610's new webhead.
    • Finally, in the stinger, just as Miguel O'Hara prepares to explore the multiverse himself, he is met by Madame Web accompanied by Alpha, Earth-616!Peter Parker — who Miguel had already met and befriended — and Earth-912131!Peter. They proceed to join Miguel on his multiversal journey, which will likely help Miguel avoid the horrific tragedy he suffered in canon. And this time, the Spider-Society is being formed under Madame Web's guidance, which will likely keep it from falling as far as it did in canon.

Captain Rex and Deliah blue. Even with overwhelming loss, love still blossoms
  • The chapter opens up heart warmingly enough with a few of the main clones of the 501st and 212nd having a holo call with 99 catching their elder up on the latest developments. Then Deliah walks in and joins the conversation telling 99 about how a lot of the clones claim he's half the reason they graduated. 99 humbly tries to wave this aside as his brother embellishing but those present, starting with Hardcase, disagree stating he's too modest.
Deliah: You really love your brothers, don't you? You're looking out for your little brothers, hoping they'd reach the expectations you wish they could have. You encourage them when they least expect it and they're thankful for it."
99(With a teary eyed smile): "Yeah, seeing them succeed and come back is all that matters to me."
Deliah: "Well, even if you think you did a "small amount" in making the boys who they are today, you're mistaken. You've helped make these the best soldiers in galactic history."
    • 99 also joins in on teasing Rex about him and Deliah while thinking she'd be able to get him to loosen up and possibly lead to a life outside of being a soldier.
  • Cham's push for civilian volunteers has paid of as the Clones are now training new recruits, the majority of whom are Twi'leks inspired by the heroics of the Jedi, Avengers and Clone Troopers during the Ry'loth campaign, especially Ima Gun-Die, the 71st and Quicksilver for standing by Cham's resistance during the occupation.
  • When the Guardians of the Galaxy and the Avengers meet in full, Peter Quill recognises Steve Rogers from his old history lessons, and Steve in turn recalls that Quill's grandfather, Jason Quill, was one of the Howling Commandos for a time, although Jason transferred to the 101st before the final raid against Hydra. Peter Quill is shown to be touched and awed that his grandfather's tales of fighting alongside Captain America were actually true.
  • This exchange between Steve and Aayla when they meet up during Ultron's attack on Theed:
Aayla: I'm sorry I took so long."
Steve: "You're here and that's all that matters to me."
Aayla: "Force me, I love you."
    Steve: "I love you too."
  • Chapter 105:
    • This chapter also has a pretty heart warming start following an average day for 99, chatting with his brothers, giving a training squad a pep talk before being greeted by Omega with a surprise hug. The younger clone tells him she's been given the rest of the day off and plans to spend it with her favourite brother. Awww.
    • Later, the two check in on Shaak Ti bringing the Jedi Master a cup of tea to her delight.
    • Omega and the Bad Batch have already met in this continuity and she and Wrecker are just as close as they are in canon even sharing Lula which Omega hugs as Wrecker thrills her by recounting the squad's latest mission.
    • When Ultron makes his move on Kamino 99 immediately asks for the Batch's help with something, Crosshairs later questions why they're wasting their time when they could be called into action any second, to which Tech counters that helping out 99 is never a waste. The sniper actually agrees with the point.
    • Clones Troopers' Big Brother Instinct for the cadets is on full display during the evacuation.
    • 99's decision to sacrifice himself is somewhat bittersweet. Despite knowing he will die, he feels content that he has managed to save his brothers and Shaak Ti, and even when terrified by the genocidal AI, he stands resolute as though content that he falls in the name of giving his brothers a chance to stop his killer.
  • Chapter 106:
    • This chapter has many moments of recovery where the Avengers, the Clones and Jedi all have small moments with each other to try to either cheer someone up or give them the motivation to remain strong.
      • Ahsoka and Barriss try to keep their fellow Padawans and Younglings calm and ready for anything, to be vigilant and prepared to spring into action, be it for battle or to just keep each other and the Republic safe.
      • Mak Lotor and Kass Tod step up to help them
      • The original Avengers(minus Bruce) and Rhodey all are there to comfort Tony and pick him back up, him holding a great amount of guilt for what had transpired due to his role in creating Ultron.
      • Pietro and Chuchi spend their time in bed together, the Senator clinging to her lover after what was likely a long night in bed.
      • A small moment of Celeste helping out Clone Trooper guards who have been running themselves ragged after the fall of Kamino.
      • In fact, this is a general theme of this entire chapter, ranging from Ashoka and Bariss encouraging their fellow padawans to look after the clones, to the average civilians of Coruscant volunteering to aid the clone security personnel. In these times of darkness, the Clones are finally starting to be treated less as tools or faceless meat robots, but finally as fellow human beings who have lost their home.
      • In the background, several civilians take it upon themselves to ask the Coruscant Guard (the Clone security personnel) if they need anything.
      • Bucky comforting Celeste over War Is Hell and Forever War in both galaxies.
      • Jennifer Walters having a moment with Commander Cody, apologizing for her perceived failure as an Avenger and Cody assuring her that this wasn't her fault. She then amusingly forces the Commander into accepting her aid, much to his confusion.
      • Katy being comforted and told she did more than she realized by Shang-Chi, Luke Cage, Danny Rand and Hank Pym.
      • Deliah Blue having a personal and very intimate moment with Captain Rex. Despite Rex shouting at her, telling her she's not one of them, this doesn't hurt her in a direct manner, only feeling pain for the anguish Rex must be going through right now. She comforts him and admits that he's the type of man she wants, affirming it with a kiss, confirming her attraction to him.
  • Chapter 107 has various couples preparing for the final showdown with Ultron by enjoying their time together
    • Steve and Bucky finally having Double Date with their (Jedi) girlfriends, 75 years since their double date debacle back in 1941.
    • Peter, Ahsoka and Barriss just talking about the future.
    • Preparing for the final confrontation with Ultron, Luminara affirms to Rhodey that Barriss became basically the closest thing she's ever had to a daughter.
    • Rhodey all-but-explicitly asking Luminara out on a date if they survive.
    • Thor and Jane having a double date with Anakin and Padme.
    • Sam and Dani finding a perch for themselves to get away from the madness to be with each other while discussing the latter meeting the former's family.
    • Rex and Deliah Blue's relationship being out in the open with the clones teasing him at first before Rex has a moment where he soaks in his time with his brothers and his new love, Deliah.
    • Pietro and Chuchi having a night of passion, Chuchi making her lover promise that he comes back.
    • Steve assisting Tony with Pepper, giving Potts a place for the two to go for a date night.
    • Scott and Hope spending time together with Cassie.
    • Obi-Wan and Matt being pulled into a night of love for the former and the night of passion for the latter with the Kryze sisters. Kryze sisters, in the next chapter, having goodbye & good luck hug before battle.
    • Steve and Aayla taking the final step in their relationship. By the next chapter, Steve has replaced the photo of Peggy in his compass with a photograph of Aayla, musing that where Peggy was his First Love, he now regards Aayla as his ''true'' love.
     Trailer
  • Chapters 109 & 110, despite its horrifying Foreshadowing, have these moments in the future:
    • Galaxy Far Far Away being rebuilt, with Jedi Order, Avengers and Clone Troopers actively partaking in it.
    • Thor and Jane hugging each other and laughing.
    • Rhodey getting chaste cheek kiss from Luminara.
    • Pietro and Riyo expecting the baby.
    • Steve & Aayla hugging each other in Avengers HQ on Coruscant.
    • Barriss Offee being accepted in Order of Masters of the Mystic Arts.
    • Clones having victory celebration, with Rex being hugged and flirted by Deliah, much to his slight irk and Clone Troopers’s teasing.
    Victory...For Now arc
  • Dooku being reunited with Qui-Gon Jinn’s Force Ghost.
"Because there is much to discuss, my Master." Jinn said straight away. "Much to catch up on. And… I wished to see you again. It has been so long."
"It has, my old Padawan." Came the haggard response from Dooku, a somber and tired expression visible for Qui-Gon to see. "Far too long."
  • Even with Ultron's defeat, the Avengers all make it clear that they intend to maintain a presence in the Galaxy Far, Far Away at least for the foreseeable future, ranging from Tony constructing a ship that the Avengers can use to travel around this galaxy to Pietro proposing to Riyo Chuchi.
    • Wanda Maximoff invites Thrawn to visit Earth, and gives him The Art of War (Sun Tzu) to give him a taste of what cultures he would find on her homeworld.
  • Laura Barton suggesting that Anakin and Padmé have a public marriage ceremony, with Celeste Morne approving and hinting that there are various ancient secrets and rituals of the old Jedi Order to be found on Tython, including wedding ceremonies.
  • Steve & Aayla having a private moment and ultimately Glad-to-Be-Alive Sex.
  • Chapter 113:
    • Though his death was tragic, the Republic honors both 99 and the clones in general with a monument made for them on Coruscant in front of both the Senate Building and the Jedi Temple.
    • Rex and Deliah have a heart to heart where the latter states she loves the former.
    • Satine Kryze being Shipper on Deck for her sister Bo-Katan and Matt Murdock.
    • The Jedi Order deciding to take a more proactive role in peacekeeping and rebuilding the galaxy after the war against Ultron, ranging from trying to simply wander the galaxy more rather than receiving missions from the Republic to encouraging members such as Barriss to learn more about the Force from the sorcerers of Kamar-Taj.
  • Various moments as the Avengers return to their homeworld, with special attention going to T’Challa introducing the Wookies to his parents. While the Wookies are obviously very different to the existing tribes, the word of their son is enough for T’Chaka and Ramona to take steps to bring the Wookies into their kingdom as the sixth tribe of Wakanda.
  • Even back on Coruscant, there are still tender moments, as Natasha is shown to still be touched as Mara shows a clear awareness of her mother, the Widow admitting to Clint that even when she lost the ability to have biological children she always thought about having a family. Clint suggests that, once she can take the time, she might see about setting up her own place on the land around the Barton farmhouse so that his children can spend more time with ‘Auntie Nat’ and their new ‘cousin’.
  • Aayla listens to Steve as he continuously reflects upon being out of time, how he still struggles with finding his place but with Aayla by his side now, Steve believes he can now begin to fully move on and perhaps even have a future with her.
