Aru Shah and the End of Time
- Aru and Mini's growing sisterly friendship throughout the book is very cute. Both of them didn't have any real friends before they met each other.
- When they both unlock their celestial weapons to save each other in the mouth of the whale.
- When Aru saves Mini in the Palace of Illusion and she says that there's no need to say thank you as they both trust each other with their lives.
- And when they hang out at the end of the book to eat Skittles and annoy Boo.
- Boo's redemption and his genuine want to protect Aru and Mini to make up for his previous mistakes.
- Aru going on the whole quest just to save her mother, and them hugging and making up at the end.
- Krithika giving up her family for the Sleeper, although that didn't work out too well.
Aru Shah and the Song of Death
- Aru and Brynne bonding over a 100 Grand. Bonus points for Aiden setting it up.
- Aru helping Aiden figure out his feelings regarding his mom and his parents' divorce.
- When Meenakshi is stabbed through the heart, by Aru nonetheless, and dying, Aru promises to tell her story, and uses her true name. Meenakshi dies content.
Aru Shah and the Tree of Wishes
- Aru growing into an older sister figure for Nikita and Sheela. At the end of the book, Nikita is ready to sacrifice herself to let Aru get to Kalpavriksha.
- Aiden, Mini and Brynne comforting Aru after she sees the memories of the Sleeper, and the other Potatoes comforting her after she learns the secret of her name.
- In turn, Rudy is comforted by the other Potatoes when the truth of his colorblindness comes out.
- This is kind of a Tear Jerker as well, but the Sleeper refusing to give up Aru and Krithika to wish for his destiny to be changed.
- Also the story Krithika tells of the Sleeper, where after telling Krithika to write down all her worries on pieces of paper, he enchanted them into a songbird, that she still keeps with her to this day.
Aru Shah and the City of Gold
- Kara has a name tag custom-made for Aru after Kara learns that Aru never can find one with her name on it
- The Potatoes put so much effort into Aru's fifteenth birthday that they don't even allow her to come down to see what's going on before her birthday actually comes
- Nikita makes a birthday dress for Aru
