- Chapter 7, episode 39 "The Guide" sees Ed meeting his witch girlfriend again as a ghost. They passionately kiss while Lucy surprisingly tells Lily that she's confident the Devil does indeed love his daughter, for love was the only thing Heaven and Hell could agree upon.
- Chapter 7, episode 40 "Dust Settles" has Betty overwrought with relief that Lily is safe. She tries to apologize to Betty for influencing her to make her love Lily, but Betty asks if she's still influencing her. Lily confusedly replies a no, and Betty assures that it's okay then, because Lily clearly never had to.
- Chapter 7, episode 41 "Words Matter" has Angela admit kissing Mot has never felt right for some reason. Mot tells her that it's because she's not in love with him, she just loves him. He appeals that she just has to allow herself to feel close to someone, hugs her, and tells her that he loves her. Now, it feels right.
