- In Ant-Man: Season One, it's revealed that Hank had intended to name the Particles after his deceased wife, but his father forced him to use their surname.
- The epilogue issue of Age of Ultron sees Hank in the middle of a depression-fueled reexamination of his life, from his days as a daydreamy child inventor to his various superheroic identities. In the end, Hank remembers that the world where he was dead was still awful even without Ultron around, and the things he does really do make a difference. We then see him go and help out as Ant-Man again, and he just looks so happy and fulfilled for the first time in years.
