As a Moments subpage, all spoilers are unmarked as per policy. You Have Been Warned.

  • Ma Petite surprising Amazon Eve by jumping out of a pumpkin, resulting in the two smiling and giggling to each other.
  • Edward sees pure innocence in Salty and Pepper. He doesn't even ask them for a story, as they have no shame that he can sense.
  • Twisty being Mordrake's chosen Freak. Even his blown off jaw is restored when he returns as a ghost.
  • The whole town showing up to congratulate Jimmy for saving the captured people, and giving the whole Freakshow thanks and sweets.
  • Ethel's Pet the Dog moments with Desiree, taking her to the doctor when she starts hemorrhaging downstairs, then bonding with her over their shared hatred of Dell. It's especially sweet considering the relationship Kathy Bates and Angela Basset's characters had last season.
  • Dandy's interactions with the twins. For the entirety of the show, he's been nothing but a childish asshole to everyone around him. But, with them, he acts like an absolute sweetheart and a gentleman. It's especially nice seeing him grab their hand while they reach for popcorn in the movie, at least until Dot refuses to tell him one of her secrets, which causes him to revert right back into his usual state.
  • Twisty and Dandy forming a sort of Villainous Friendship.
  • Jimmy manages to get Dell to acknowledge him as his son and they have a touching reconciliation (especially considering that the latter was seconds from braining the former with a brick).
  • In a strange, twisted way, Desiree, Amazon Eve and Legless Suzie helping Penny to get revenge for what her horrible father did to her. Though it starts being Nightmare Fuel when tar and feathers are involved...
  • Elsa bringing Salty to the freak show so that Pepper wouldn't be lonely and Salty and Pepper's "wedding".
  • The episode ends terribly for Pepper, but there's an odd feeling of grace when Sister Mary Eunice is determined that Pepper has good in her and wants to help her the best she can.
  • Desiree reading The Velveteen Rabbit to comfort Pepper.
  • Though it's a huge Tear Jerker, Salty's death - as Elsa muses on it, showing her own true affection for her charges in the process - was the best end he could have hoped for, and though his life was short he'd experienced real happiness:
Elsa: The death of a beloved monster is always a sorrow, but never a surprise. If oddly-formed organs or a random physical anomaly doesn't claim them, then it's the sheer intensity of their blaze. A carny's life burns larger and brighter than most. It is bound to extinguish sooner. No long-lingering embers. A life lived to its fullest and then—phfft. Nahrun fur Wurmer. Worm food. Most pinheads die before the age of 40. Salty died in his sleep, right next to his soul mate. A stroke, one presumes. We should all go that way. And my sweet Pepper, she never mistreated him or took advantage of his moronic nature.
  • After losing their hands, Jimmy is taken care of by Elsa and Maggie. Elsa brings Massimo Dolcefino, the man who made her prosthetic legs, to Jimmy, intending on giving them some prothestic hands. After a discussion with Amazon Eve, ending with her congratulating them, it seems Jimmy will receive new replica hands free of his disability. However, at the end of the episode, when Massimo Dolcefino delivers the prosthetics, it is revealed that they are a replica of his old hands with syndactyly. Their reaction? Jimmy thanks Massimo and puts them on, finally accepting of their disability they'd hated for so long.
  • Even though much of the finale is a Tear Jerker, it has these moments too. Such as:
    • Jimmy ended up marrying Bette and Dot, and they are pregnant with their first child. Bette gets to have the family and a close friend she always wanted, and Dot gets to be with the man she loves.
    • Desiree married Angus and is living the normal life she always wanted, with children.
    • Elsa dies and goes to Heaven, where she is reunited with the dead members of the freakshow.
  • Tied to the last item on the list: All of the "freaks" are genuinely happy to see Elsa, especially Ma Petite, who immediately runs to her for a hug. Ethel seems to have taken over as leader of the group, and Elsa is terrified that she'll be angry...but instead, the bearded lady calmly forgives her for all she did on Earth, telling her that they've all learned to move past their rage and live happily. And in a final sweet moment, Ethel remarks that the one thing the group needs...is a headliner. Elsa finally gets to be the star of the show, with a big crowd cheering her on as she prepares to sing. She struggled for so long, and she's finally earned her eternal reward for it.
