• The Time Of Their Lives is very much a feel-good movie towards the end when the curse is broken and Costello is free to join his girlfriend in heaven. At least once it opens after Washington's birthday party is over.
• In Jack and the Beanstalk before being told that Nellie was a hen that laid golden eggs, Dinklepuss (Abbott) thought for a brief moment that Jack (Costello) had a sister who was kidnapped by the Giant and gave Jack's mother his condolence.
