Heartwarming / A Glad Day

• Coupled with a Tear Jerker: Bardock realizing that Romayn is Goku, the son he killed, reborn.
• Vegita finally accepting that he loved Bulma after recovering from his Mind Rape.
• Scopa and Zarbon's loving relationship. Then of course It Got Worse.
• Vegita discovering that some humans survived Bardock's purge and becoming immensely protective of them, especially Dr. Briefs, for Bulma's sake.
  • Especially when Dr. Briefs ends up becoming a Parental Substitute for him.
• The ending. Just the ending. Vegita finally meeting Trunks, reuniting with Romayn, and especially reuniting with Bulma and her telling him that she forgives him and wants to start a new life with him.
• Bardock snapping Bulma out of her Heroic BSoD by getting her angry at him, and then at Vegeta. Simply by telling her to place blame where it's due.
• Bulma's vision of Heaven during her Angst Coma. She reunites with all of her dead friends and family and finally is able to heal from her trauma and wakes up to hold Trunks for the first time.
  I woke.

  With Rom-kun still holding my hand. With Bardock and Nail kneeling beside me. With the warm, sweet weight of my new baby heavy in my arms.

  They made me lay down. I wasn’t tired, but I let them put me to bed anyway. I have Baby Trunks here with me in one arm, and Rom-kun curled up beside me.

  I’m going to end this diary now. I’ll start a new one. One that begins with the first day of Trunks’ life. A diary full of happy memories. I don’t know where we are or what will happen tomorrow, but right now, I am happy.

  I am so happy!
