  • In episode 4, Tiger Mask gets the strength to fight back Red Death Mask's onslaught by thinking about Haruna, Ken and Daisuke.
  • In episode 7, the old man who as a child saw the original Tiger Mask fight-and, differently from most people, still remembers him. After seeing the new one fight, he goes to him and tells him they have the same eyes.
  • After losing his home and family in an earthquake, Naoto had been left without direction. But after he saw Daisuke fighting and winning a hard match and making a speech on how he lost many matches but always came back for more thanks to the public's support and his own determination, he found a reason to continue... And joined Zipangu as a wrestler.
    • Years later Naoto, as Tiger Mask, fights a match in the same gym, and after winning respectfully bows to the public for their support. Something that other wrestlers note he never does.
  • The NJPW wrestlers, and Hiroshi Tanahashi, Kazuchika Okada and Tetsuya Naito in particular, helping Tiger Mask coming up with his personal Finishing Move. Especially Naito, who isn't a friend of Tiger Mask yet came by just to give him some advice.
  • Takuma finally coming to bring his father gifts in the hospital, even if he doesn't dare to show himself to him.
  • Daisuke coming to see Tiger Mask's match in spite of still being stuck on the wheelchair.
  • Naoto and Ruriko's relationship slowly growing into something more even after she starts working as medical staff for GWM, and Ruriko still remaining a Tiger Mask fan.
    • During his fight with Bigfoot, it's Ruriko's presence that gives Tiger Mask the Heroic Second Wind he needs to win.
  • Makabe's fans preparing sweets for him when he comes to their city.
  • When they first met, the Candy Pair became friends with Haruna. Enough to procure her a pass for their rematch against Queen Elizabeth and Payne Fox-or to allow her to act as a substitute when Milk suddenly comes down with appendicitis.
    • Haruna volunteering for a match against GWM's wrestlers when Mint is unable to call another wrestler in time.
  • Odin's letters from home. Turns out he has a girlfriend and is A Hero to His Hometown.
    • The sheer wish to go back home is what helps him face Hell in the Hole-and winning.
    • After winning Hell in the Hole, Takuma and Kevin go back to the ring. Odin, instead, goes back home and meets with his girlfriend.
  • During Hell in the Hole, Kevin and Takuma promptly team up as soon as they meet. Even better, Takuma had the chance to kill both Kevin and Black Python when he stumbled on their fight, but instead helped his friend taking down his opponent.
    • In the same way, Odin and Billy the Kidman, old friends, joining forces, with Billy even trusting Odin when he appears to join Red Death Mask-and avenging him when he's apparently killed.
    • And at the end of Hell in the Hole, Odin teams up with Takuma and Kevin, the only two other survivors, against the gatekeeper out of sympathy for the two fellow wrestlers forced to fight a Killer Robot.
  • Turns out that Ruriko is the daughter of a filthy rich man and wouldn't need to work. She still does, as a nurse, because she wants to help people.
  • Fukuwara putting together an immense wrestling revitalization event (including various NJPW stars and Tiger Mask) for his dying hometown.
    • When the ring and some of the wrestlers get stuck into traffic, Nagata provides a new ring for free... And Naito and Evil jump down of the truck to join the line-up.
  • During the War Games, Naito suddenly turns on Tanahashi and beats him to go on the next stage. Their feud restarting at the wrong moment? No: someone has to take on Tiger the Third, and Naito decided to protect the other NJPW wrestlers by going him first and doing as much damage as possible.
  • Tiger the Third not revealing to Tiger's Den that Fukuwara Mask is actually one of their wrestlers turned traitor and fighting under a new gimmick. Mitigated when it's revealed that he chose not to, because Fukuwara Mask is beneath his notice.
  • Miss X trying to protect Tiger the Dark from himself when he dares Tiger the Third to turn their match into a mask vs. mask fight.
  • Near the end of episode 25, Tiger Mask finally revealing his identity to Takuma as the latter is being wheeled out to an ambulance, after being crippled by Tiger the Great III/Yellow Devil.

    Takuma: Tiger Mask...my name...how?
    Tiger Mask: Takuma, it's me, Naoto!
    Takuma: ...Naoto? Tiger Mask, that's...you?
    Takuma: Heh...when did you get so strong?
  • Haruna and Ruriko's conversation in episode 26.
  • In episode 27, Ruriko finds herself questioning her commitment as a member of GMW medical staff due to Daisuke and Takuma's Career-Ending Injuries, and asks why Tiger Mask still goes on the ring knowing the risks. He simply answers he was inspired and found his place in life thanks to Daisuke's wrestling, and aims to do the same with everyone who needs it. That, and defeat the one who crippled Daisuke. This reveal helps Ruriko recover her motivation.
  • In episode 28, Ruriko quitting GWM on Daisuke's request, to help Takuma back in the ring as his physiotherapist.
  • Even as everyone leaves Tiger Mask in rage at him joining the Miracles against NJPW, Haruna is still on his side and tries to get through him-and had Ken not said the wrong thing at the wrong moment, she may have succeeded.
    • Naoto and Ken reconciling after the former realizes what he has done. Ken even prevents him from apologizing.
    • Daisuke does the same when Naoto visits him. Also, Haruna decided to bring him a souvenir from Kyoto, even with theem being just acquaintances.
  • After being treated as a traitor by NJPW and public alike for his temporary Faceā€“Heel Turn even after turning back against GWM, Tiger Mask returning to be cheered when he saves Nagata from the Miracles' usual cheating.
    • Followed by him reconciling with the NJPW when they come to his rescue during the lumberjack match against Miracle III.
  • In episode 33, Takuma and Naoto finally training together once again. And Ruriko driving Takuma to the training room.
  • In episode 35, Takuma as Tiger the Dark offering to take the place of the missing Naito in the NJPW team-and Nagata accepting.
  • Episode 37:
    • Naito finally arrives at Final Wars-and, even as he does his usual antics, congratulates Takuma as a worthy stand-in and convinces the injured Okada to let Tiger Mask stand in for him in the extra match.
    • "The spirit of a true man... Show it to us!"
    • Early on, a Mexican promoter asked Tiger Mask to come to Mexico and help the future of the local promotions, almost ruined by Tiger's Den. As soon as Final Wars ends with his victory, Naoto does just that.
    • Naoto fought the last battle against Tiger the Great III with a mask stitched together from the right half of his torn one and the left one of Takuma's. After Final Wars we see Naoto and Takuma about to go abroad-and they have matching masks.
    • During the airport scene, we have Kevin searching for Takuma, having accepted his reasons for betraying Tiger's Den-and then Miss X arrives and asks the help of Haruna, her old enemy. Both double as Funny Moments, Kevin for going around shouting Takuma's name (and not knowing he's already on the plane) and Miss X for the sheer surrealness of both her actions and going to her old enemy for help.
    • Ken allowing Fukuwara Mask to train at Tiger Mask's old training room.
    • Takuma has joined a local promotion in the US-with his tag team partner being Odin.
  • In episode 38 we see what Miss X wanted Haruna's help for: her new promotion, Girls' Wrestling Movement, with Haruna being her ace fighter as Tiger Springer. And actually talks her into it, even with the Takaoka family's opposition to her being a wrestler, by asking her what she really wanted.
    • Miss X and Haruna developing a mentor-student relationship during the course of the episode, with Miss X even revealing she's actually called Sandra just to put themselves on a First-Name Basis.
    • GirMov's other initial fighters are the Candy Pair-and they're beyond happy at meeting with Haruna again. And Lady is still with her boss.
