Headscratchers / Zorro, the Gay Blade

• When Diego arrives home in Los Angeles, it is quickly established that Diego and Esteban (and possibly even Florinda) were childhood friends. So why doesn't Esteban seem to remember that Diego had a twin brother called Ramón?
  • Esteban isn't terribly clever. He may have forgotten.
  • Or he'd assumed Ramon's enlistment in the British Navy had been Don Senior's cover story for permanently disowning his gay son, and that Ramon was never coming back to his family.
