"Leek Boy"
  • What's up with that nickname for Rhydian? It's obviously meant as an insult, but what does it mean? (I'm an American viewer, so it's possible I'm missing some aspect of British culture, but I only know a leek as a vegetable, which seems like a pretty lame insult.)
    • Rhydian mentioned that his foster parents are vegetarians and in one episode he says he's sick of veggies. It's possible Jimmy and his crew overheard earlier at one point and calls him that just to annoy him, One way to really annoy someone immensely is to call them an lover of something they actually hate.
    • Nah, it's a joke about him being Welsh. The leek is one of the national symbols of Wales, that's why they're taunting him with it, which especially annoys him because he's not really Welsh.
      • Although both his parents *are* Welsh - both Ceri and Gerwin speak with strong Welsh accents, and well...their names could hardly be any more Welsh if they tried.
"Maddy Cool"
  • What exactly was up with this episode? It seemed to be an OOC episode for Maddy and Tom. First, Maddy, all of an sudden, becomes an bad girl (complete with makeover and attitude) and starts hanging out with The Three K's. Um, What? She knows they aren't really her friends and are just using her. What did any of this have to do with her Wolfblood? Second, where did Tom having feelings for Maddy come from? He never showed or even hinted he had romantic feelings for Maddy yet now he's jealous of her and Rhydian.
    • Tom's feelings for Maddy were (subtly) hinted since the first episode.
    • I believe it's suggested that it's 'leftover energy' from her first transformation into a wolfblood, leaking over into her human side. So she's more wolf like than normal, making her aggressive and moody (an analogy for being a teenager and rebelling against their parents etc).
