  • The timing between everyone leaving the Inn and Trish attacking Devon is a bit odd. Joachim and Devon leave for home about a minute before Trish and Pete do. However, Trish has time to get home, settle in with Pete, have her mental breakdown, and then track the two men down. Meanwhile, Joachim and Devon are still walking through the woods. It's likely Pete and Trish live closer to the Inn, but if they have that much of a head start, how could Trish have caught up to them so easily?
    • Joachim and Devon do mention that they've gotten lost in trying to walk home in the snowstorm.

  • How many votes does the pipeline actually need to pass? In the space of two sentences, Cecily says that the pipeline needs "a majority vote" and that Mrs. Sherman and the Wolfsons are "the last holdouts". Beaverfield is clearly more than seven people, but even if it wasn't, four against three is a majority vote.
    • The amount of votes needed waffles between 'majority' and 'unanimous' depending on the scene. It seems like it is supposed to be an all or nothing vote, because a small number of holdouts are stopping the proposal from going forward.
    • There's also mention of some of the townspeople needing to sell, indicating that the pipeline needs the property they own for some reason. It flops between excuses almost at random. . . which may be part of the point. The townspeople are so caught up in these petty arguments they've long since stopped addressing the actual issues and started just throwing random accusations at each other.
