Headscratchers / Wagnaria!!

• Did Kotori-chan use contact lens or something? It's been shown before that Souta's sight is so bad that he can't work properly at all without his glasses but Kotori-chan didn't use them and can walk properly. Is it the case? It's so weird that there's no mention of it at all in and out universe.
  • Actually, we do get a splash page in the anime of all the components of the disguise. The contacts were single-day-use, and supplied by our favorite Living Prop Maya Matsumoto. (Though that raises the question: Are her prescription the exact same as Souta's?) Note the arrow pointing at Kotori's eyes (and sorry it's not in English)◊

• Is Inami's backstory viable? It's stated that the cause of her severe androphobia is her father, both repeatedly telling her men are monsters and only showing her movies in which the villain is a man. Were there enough movies in early-90s Japan to support his questionable tactic?
  • Not all of the movies had to be from Japan. And if you look at most media, men are disproportionately the villains, compared to the actual percentage of the population that is male.

• Why do people keep assuming Taneshima's a grade-schooler? I can bring up some pretty compelling evidence that she isn't.
  • Rule of Funny. Plus, she's shorter than other characters, even a middle schooler like Yamada, and there's a twelve year old taller than her, Nazuna, who's there often enough to draw comparisons.
