Headscratchers / Vampire in Brooklyn

• It's never explained in the film, but why does Rita think that Justice left her apartment, then apparently came back to screw her roomate? is it an assumption due to jealousy?
  • Basically, yes, she's not really thinking because she's jealous and honestly not the brightest bulb in the police car flashers.
• Max says to Rita that her father gave his life to save her mother so she could survive as he was killed by humans AKA vampire hunters but why would he sacrifice his life for her if she was still human why would the humans want to kill Rita's mother if she was not a vampire.
  • Maybe they considered her a Category Traitor for having an affair with a vampire?
  • There is also the fact that they might know that she would be carrying a Dhampyr child, not wanting to leave a loose end.
