Headscratchers / Trailer Park Boys: The Animated Series

• After Sunnyvale is destroyed by Hurricane Ricky, why did they go through the effort of creating a massive rock show when they could've just called Snoop Dogg or Tom Arnold and been like "Hey, our trailer park got destroyed by a hurricane and we need $10'000 or else Barb is going to turn it into a cattle ranch."? Snoop and Tom are huge fans of theirs and could easily afford to (and, especially in Tom Arnold's case, certainly would) send them 10k, even more so since $10'000 CND is only almost $7'600 in American dollars. $10'000 CND would be chump change to them.
  • Pride would probably have a lot to do with it. None of the Sunnyvale residents would enjoy having to go cap in hand asking for help. It's one thing to commit crimes for money, since they're still getting cash through their own "work", but it's quite another to be reduced to basically begging for help. Can you really see the boys panhandling, even if they made more money and were in less danger of going back to jail?
• Also, how have the Boys not noticed they haven't seen Mr. Lahey in a really long time? Since Lahey disappeared, they've been to their trailer at least once (twice in Ricky's case) and there have been multiple community events in which he would've attended and the only person aside from Randy who's noticed is Barb, but the Boys have never noticed his absence nor have they mentioned not seeing him since their 'shroom trip started even though he's been a part of their lives since the beginning. Not even after Bubble's finishes his story in the two flashback episodes (Lahey appeared in both stories) do they say "Speakin' of Lahey, anyone seem him recently?"
  • They may have assumed that the liquor finally caught up to Lahey and he died of cirrhosis, a drunken car crash, etc.
• What happened to George Green? He hasn't appeared in the animated series at all outside of two "Origin Story" episodes. He can't be in jail since he did get the boys locked up (at least for ten minutes) so has he just given up on putting the Boys away and just fled Sunnyvale?
  • He might have been transferred to another detachment, especially given his past history with the Sunnyvale residents.
