  • Where is Lionheart supposed to be from? He lives in England and has clearly been performing as a Shakespearian actor there for years, and there's no mention of him having been born in America or coming to England at some point in his life, and his daughter is played by Diana Rigg, an English actress with an English accent. Lionheart, however, is played by Vincent Price, from St Louis, Missouri, with a...Vincent Price accent, i.e. one that no-one else in the world has. In some Vincent Price films the audience is just meant to accept him as English, but most of those can be handwaved as historical so accents would have been somewhat different anyway, if they're even set in the real world at all. In a film set in real-world 1970s London where the other British characters are played by British actors, his accent comes across as somewhat more unusual and raises the question of whether there's any in-universe explanation for it.
