  • When Minalan is being blatantly threatened by countess Rardine in the end of book 2, she says that although the fact that his stone severs the dead god's control gives him political power, he doesn't have to be the one to wield the stone. Is that true? I thought the Aronin bound the stone to his soul on a level deeper than the other stones' bonds to their users.
    • You are correct. However, Rardine is unaware that she is wrong, mainly because she's a stupid arrogant bitch.
