- Another cartoon adaptation based loosely on the Father Christmas Graphic Novels by the same author establishes that the Snowlems don't die when their bodies melt. So what do they do with themselves in the summertime, when there are no snowmen to Body Surf into? Can they possess other items like department-store mannequins, soft toys etc, or do they just sort of drift around in the etherial plane for nine months of the year?
- Prehaps they go to the snowmen in the other hemisphere, and any freak snowstorms that happen. Not sure about when there aren't enough snowmen to go around.
- Maybe they go to the North Pole and Santa makes them bodies to chill in.
- They were worried about the snowman sneezing and waking up the parents, but not about riding a motorcycle? (And the motorcycle, in fact, didn't wake them up?)
- Well maybe the parents are heavy sleepers. But the snowman was going to sneeze in the parents' room, right next to them. The motorcycle is ridden outside, a few feet away from the house.
- How come the boy’s mother from the end of the sequel The Snowman and the Snowdog doesn’t question why her son has a puppy which has suddenly appeared overnight, wouldn’t she think it is either a stray or belongs to someone?
- How did the snowman melt that quickly?! There's still plenty of snow on the ground in the ending, so it's not like it's that warm. If anything, the surrounding snow should be melted long before the snowman does.
