- The titular Sandman is a scientist, an inventor, a Gadgeteer Genius in fact. Couldn't he just construct some automated mechanism to distribute sleeping sand to the appropriate Earth region which requires it? It would save him much more trouble than freezing time and inventing eternal sleeping sand.
- And as long as the automaton would remain functioning, he wouldn't need to worry about getting some sleep himself a single bit.
- Also wouldn't stopping time simply stop everything dead in its tracks thus rendering the eternal sleping sand completely unnecessary?
- Why did Sandman shrink his castle? This way he actually made it easier for his Arch-Enemy to ... well ... you can imagine.
- While Sandman's desperate yearning for getting some sleep himself is understandable, doesn't it come off as quite narrow-minded from him to think, that everyone has to sleep at night? What about people whose job requires them to work at night? Also he doesn't seem to be concerned about animals. And many species are also nocturnal.
