• Howcome there is still electricity several days (weeks?) after Project Flashlight if there is no one to run the grid?
  • At the time the effect took place, it was 6 A.M. local time, so electrical load on the power grid would've been minimal. It was also Winter in New Zealand, so things like AC would not have been in use. Also, apart from the weather and neglect, there was no other activity that could damage the infrastructure. The power plants themselves probably had automation. However, after a few weeks, with no one to maintain and repair anything, the power plant(s) would eventually exhaust their fuel supply and/or shut down due to some dangerous condition that there was no one present to correct.
  • It's suggested that The Energy Grid is self-balanced and automated to a degree. Or perhaps its drawing energy from another dimension. Bear in mind, we only see the grid station in New Zealand so who knows?
