• So Jan is a superstar for the entire duration of time between striking the deal and Zeebub coming to collect, right? And since Zeebub comes to collect in the middle of her biggest concert with a whole crowd of screaming adoring fans, how in God's name is she suddenly a has-been with entire boarded-up merchandise stores merely seconds later?!
  • Devil powers. He can magically create the things she needs to become a superstar, so he probably magically influenced everyone to disown her.
• What is the exact nature of Jan and Dan's relationship? For example, are they supposed to be family members (like siblings, cousins, etc.), a romantic couple, or a simple pair of friends? It was very unclear to me in my viewing of the special, and it left me a bit confused.
  • Considering Jan sings a song about missing Dan and his "loving", I think it's safe to say they are a couple.
