• WHY did Jacob and Dani ditch their helmets late in the game? Its like they think NOTHING is going to happen that will require them to wear it. They didn't get damaged or anything. Lo and behold guess what happens to Dani? She got infected by a biophage creature through the mouth because she was NOT wearing a useful piece of headgear. Super dumb.
  • If you look at Jacob's helmet, you can see that it actually is damaged, as there is a hole in the right side of the visor. It's large enough that Jacob puts his hand through it. Dani is already missing her helmet when he wakes up, so it's likely her helmet suffered the same fate.
