• Did you ever notice that, in the "This is It!" theme, Daffy has suddenly lost his characteristic lisp? (Listen carefully.) I've often wondered why Mel Blanc chose (or was asked by one of the directors) to sing Daffy's part "straight" (apart from the normal electronic speeding up of his voice). Maybe the lyrics were simply easier to understand that way? (Then again, people with vocal problems like a lisp or stutter often find that the problem is much less apparent or even absent when singing. Though I doubt the creators who made the decision to de-lisp Daffy's vocals were thinking about that.)
