• So Jerry and his wife fake a pregnancy, and later a miscarriage, just in case Jerry finds himself in a tough spot. Fine. Anna later goes through the trouble of setting up a fake Instagram account just to make sure the wedding was off because she was suspicious. But...what if she hadn't done that? What if they hadn't found out that everything was a lie and that the wedding was still on? Was Jerry just going to have his wedding without his four best friends there? Even if they did find out, what if they were so angry about Jerry going so far that they just refused to go? What was the endgame for Jerry in either of these scenarios?
  • He might just come clean to them about the miscarriage charade before the wedding, and he knew them well enough that they'll come even if they're angry.
  • It is also noted that Jerry's lost sight of the forest for the trees a bit as well; the others call him out on being so determined not to get "tagged" that he's gradually pushing them away. It's entirely likely that he just got so caught up in strategising that he simply didn't think about the effects outside the game this might have.
