• So a bit of a deal is made about Captain Ali being the first woman on the moon in Episode 9...but what about the Chinese astronauts that are already up there? Some of them could easily be women. In fact it looks like one of the scientists on the left during the video call might be a woman.
  • It's more that she's the first black woman (of the American team) to set foot on the moon that was significant. And just being in the landing ship and actually putting 'boots on the moon' is a different thing.
    • Yeah, this is why she wants her first tweet to be "Great to be black on the Moon!"
    • Actually, "Great to be black on the moon" was a mistake. And of the 6 astronauts who have been on the moon, none of them were women.
• During the war game, why didn't Naird have the ballons on him? Because if he did, then I think that even with the disabled exo-suits, the air-force people would've shot him point blank or stabbed him. The air-force leader had them, so what gives?
  • I think he had one balloon on him. Why the air-force didn't shoot or stab him... I don't know. Maybe they were afraid of overbalancing?
    • Yeah, I think it was mostly a continuity issue. A number characters in that scene, as I recall, had less than full coverage, perhaps because the balloons were popping throughout the filming of the scene, and they weren't replaced for some reason.
• Regarding the show's final episode, is Microsoft actually allowed to force an update onto a military/government computer that prevents it from being used while the update is installing? That seems kind of illegal.
