- Longinus was cursed with immortality and wants more than anything to die. And yet he stabbed Jesus, has spent the last four hundred years doing all manner of evil deeds, and because of his curse he knows for a fact that God is real. Which begs the question: why is he so desperate to die when he's obviously going to go straight to Hell?
