• Why did that one cop feel it was necessary to subject Billie to such horrendous brutality while having her under interrogation regarding Dillinger’s whereabouts? I mean, we get it, he was probably a rogue cop or a corrupt one, but still, the way he abused her was just unnecessarily malicious and sadistic. Why did he do that?
  • Standard Jack Bauer Interrogation Technique. Melvin Purvis uses it on Hamilton in the film and was known to use it pretty liberally in reality. The only difference here is that Billie is a woman, and Reinecke is portrayed as one of the few FBI agents who Would Hit a Girl.
