Headscratchers / Prom Night (1980)

• The events leading up to Robin's death make no sense. I can buy the other kids maybe wanting to scare Robin a bit, but why didn't they stop when she was leaning out the open window? What did they think was going to happen when they cornered her and practically forced her out the window? Even for kids, they should have been able to figure out that enough was enough and stopped trying to scare her. Also, if Alex saw Robin fall out of the window, why didn't he immediately rush to her aid? A bit of time passed between Robin falling and the broken window falling on her and skewering her; did he really spend the whole time just standing there rather than possibly get her out of harm's way? She might have survived the fall had he pulled her out of the way of the window. I know it's a slasher and I'm probably overthinking it, but still, everyone grabbing the Idiot Ball during that scene just make things too ridiculous for me.
  • Robin didn't fall from an open window; she was leaning against the window pane when it gave way. As for Alex, it's unclear how much he saw before he came upon her body. He was pretty clearly in shock, too.
• Why does the killer wear a glittery ski mask? Kinda makes you stick out like a sore thumb.
  • The mask originally belonged to Lou, who fought with Alex earlier, so the killer wore the mask with the idea to frame Lou for the murders.
