- Why is Manaphy called "PRINCE of the sea" throughout the movie when it's technically genderless and has no royalty at all?
- Most likely Manaphy was a very rare water Pokemon to begin with.
- Makes sense that people would associate legendary Pokémon with royalty.
- It's probably from the People of The Water's mythology, helped by the fact wild water pokemon seem to obey it even the mighty Kyogre.
